Two boys at one school, both werewolves. Uh oh!

When the shy new kid, incidentally also a werewolf, moves into the area where the Alpha wolf reigns, the rival between the two, sparked by the Alpha, becomes an absolute war over territory. The newcomer does not pose much of a threat, but by animal instinct, the Alpha instantaneously begins to show the new Beta where his place is- and never lets him forget it.

Will the feud go on and on, or is there some relief for the Beta from the Alpha's torture?

Helios was a shy boy, keeping himself to himself most of the time. His name was greek, though he did not match it in any way, it ment Sun but he was almost frighteningly pale.

He walked slowly through the corridors of the large, empty school, hoping to find his class. A piece of paper gripped tightly in his hand as he clung to both it and his bag strap from nervousness.

His hair was a fantasticly bright shade of blonde, almost white, though he had added a small fleck of blue in his almost typically emo fringe in order to add a little colour to it. His eyes, also fairly bright in their colouring, were blue, and scanned over the doors, resting on one.

His gaze flicked between the paper in his hand and the door. Her stepped closer to it, lifting his hand and taking a deep breath before knocking on it three times. Oh how he hated being new.

(Hope that's ok ><)

((Star, that is an EXCELLENT post. <333 n_n I hope mine fits into what you were going for... owo;))

Marcus sat in class, pretending to learn, but not really caring. He had been through all of this before, last year, the first time he had gone through the grade. He was now a year older than the other students in his class, and he had the attitude and maturity to prove it. Marcus hated school, and felt he didn't belong there. He wasn't book smart, and he didn't need it, in his opinion. He belonged in the wild, he was an animal... Quite literally, not that anyone at any of the desks around him knew that, and they never would know... Unless they got too close, in which case it would be too late for them anyway.

He was sitting there doodling, when he caught the scent of someone, someone unusual, coming towards the classroom. He was proven correct when there was a knock on the door, in the middle of the teacher talking about symbiotic-whatever. Marcus looked at the door, same as everyone else in the class as the teacher opened the door, and revealed a boy, with a bag and clenching a piece of paper. [i]'New kid.'[/b], Marcus thought, knowing what the piece of paper must have been.

Marcus heard the teacher trying to collect the new kid's name and such, while the rest of the class looked on. Marcus instead looked back at his unfinished doodled and continued with it.

He stood in the doorway, his eyes wide with slight fear as they flicked quickly over the class before turning to look at the teacher.

He held up the piece of paper, offering it to the teacher, who took it and scanned the writing on it before handing it back to Helios.

"I'm Helios," He muttered Nervously, "Just transfered here," A slight accent to his voice as he spoke made it obvious the the several pairs of eyes staring at him, that he wasn't from around here, not at all.
He watched the teacher intenly, waiting for a reply as his eyes flicked over the room quickly taking in each pupil sat at their desks, attempting to memorise their features and any characteristics that stood out about them.

He raised an eyebrow for a short moment as his gaze flicked over the one boy not staring at him with judging eyes. he was, instead, doodling on a piece of paper before him.

"Well... take a seat, Helios." the Biology teacher said, gesturing to the classroom. There were a few seats open. One in the second row from the window, second seat from the front, another in the middle of the classroom, and one two seats behind Marcus, which was right next to the window, behind a thin blonde girl.

Marcus knew the seat behind the blonde was open and looked up to Helios, waiting to see where the boy would chose to sit. If he chose behind the blonde, Marcus could see if the scent he was picking up was really coming from the new kid.

Helios glanced around the room, judging the best seat. He'd always liked the outdoors and he instictilvely moved towards the seat beside the window.

He walked quickly, hoping to reach the seat and sit down quickly so the lesson could resume and he wouldn't have to endure the sets of eyes staring intently at him, judging him in an instant.

He sat down, kicking his back beneath the desk and resting his head againt his hand, propped against the desk, watching the world outside the classroom for a few moments before getting himself his notebook and pens, not really that bothered about learning whatever it was the teacher was rambling on about.

Marcus pretend not to notice as the boy walked passed him, giving Marcus his scent. The scent was unmistakable, and Marcus knew in an instant what this new kid was hiding. He only had to wonder if the other was aware of Marcus, and whether or not this kid was going to challenge him. If he was, Marcus was assured the kid would go down quickly- he didn't look like much, and Marcus was confident in his abilities as Alpha... Not that it took much to be an Alpha around that area. There were only two others in the area that were capable of running with a pack. The others, all three of them, were incapable of even transforming. They carried the scent and the genes of a werewolf, but they weren't active genes. It was disappointing to Marcus, to have such a tiny pack.

He would have to convince Helios to enter his pack, under his rules, but he would also have to show the boy who was boss- human form or werewolf. He decided he would approach the other at lunch, with the pack. He would see how things went from there.

Helios didn't really pay much attention throughout the remainder of the class. He did little more than randomly drag his pen across the paper and play a few games of noughts and crosses with himself.

He let out a sigh of relief as the lesson ended. Standing up her lifted his bag onto his desk and slowly packed away his pens and notebook. Glancing around he watched most of the class exit the room before turning back to his belongings. He hoped he could find a quiet place to just sit for a little while, he felt like being on his own right now.

Picking up his bag and slinging it over one shoulder, he left the room, begining to wander aimlessly down the halls in search of a secluded spot to sit for a little while.

After a short while, he found somewhere, glancing about quickly, he ducked beneath a staircase and sat casually in the small cut out beneath it. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes with a smile, happy to be out of the classroom

Marcus tailed Helios for awhile, to see what he was doing next. When the boy wandered off on his own away from others, Marcus watched from afar. This was the perfect opportunity. He turned on his heal and went to meet the other two at the library- where they usually met for third hour, which they all three had no class during.

When he found them, he informed them of the situation and the other two were equally surprised as he had been. They followed him to where the boy had set down; collecting the rest of the pack and returning to where they could see Helios had taken no more than thirty seconds. The three approached the boy slowly, by Marcus' lead, so the boy could pick up their scents as a warning, in case he wanted to flee. If he did, it meant they were right, but also that he was afraid, and therefore no threat. The same could be proven by him staying and freezing in place. On the other hand, if the boy alone stood up to the pack, there would be an issue.

"Hello, Helios." Marcus said when he stopped a few feet-about a meter- away from the boy.

Opening one eye, Helios glanced up at Marcus as he leant against the wall behind him, sat on the floor.
"Hello," He said quietly, turning his head now to look at the small group of boys before him, completely oblivious to the fact that they were like him, having never encountered one outside of his family.

He turned, sitting crosslegged on the floor infront of them now, watching them.
"Is there something I can help you with?" He asked, slightly unsure of why they were here, why they were talking to him, the new kid, and also, obviously, who they were as he was still unaware of names.

Marcus stayed standing towering above him, but lowered his voice, "We know what you are, Helios. I caught your scent even before you entered the room." he said, smiling a little, Very strong werewolf scent." he clarified, not giving the boy the option of pretending he didn't know what they were talking about. "You have a choice, either join the pack, MY pack, or become an enemy. What's your decision" he asked, while the other boys looked on with stone faces.

Helios raised an eyebrow, confused by the confrontation.

"Werewolf..." He murmured quietly, his bright blue eyes narrowing slightly as he glanced over each of the boys stood before him.

He gave a small flick of his hair, brushing it from his eyes as he grabbed his bag and quickly got to his feet. He took a small step towards Marcus, gripping his bag as a sudden rush of adrenaline - Probably something to do with his wolf-side, took over his usual shy submisive nature.

"I don't do packs," He almost growled out his words, though his voice was low and quiet, "I go it alone, and even if I was to join your pack, I don't expect to be ordered into it" With that, he walked around the group quickly, making his way down the corridor in search of another secluded spot before his next lesson began.
He glanced at his piece of paper, pulling it from his pocket. Next Lesson - Performing Arts.
"Great," He mumbled as he weaved through the crowds of people, "If that Lesson's with that guy I won't enjoy this one bit..."

Marcus growled, furious, but let the boy walk away, despite his urge to pummel him to the ground. Don't do packs... Bullshit. he thought. Werewolves were just like regulars wolves in the aspect that they all ran in packs. It was how they were "programmed" in a way. Helios was lying, and just being defiant. If he didn't want to follow Marcus, then he was against him, an enemy. Marcus turned to the others in his group. "Keep an eye on him. We'll convince him to join. Even if it kills him." he said in a flat voice, giving the order. He followed that by ordering the other boys to torment him mentally more than physically. Physically would be Marcus' job, since he was the one who would best know how to take care of the boy that way. Marcus had his next class Riley, with one of the pack, but the other, Tucker, was going to Preforming Arts, which he usually skipped anyway. They agreed to scout first, and hunt later- meaning they would find out where the boy was every minute of the day, and then they would begin their 'convincing'.

Deciding to attempt to find the classroom now instead of when the lesson has actually started, Helios went off to search the hallways.

As he walked he thought over the little encounter he'd had earlier, realising how different he'd acted, that wasn't him at all. Granted, he was what he was and most wolves, werewolves included, were drawn to a pack. Helios, however, was a lone wolf. He hadn't known any other wolf besides his family, and he had managed just fine without any company.

He grumbled as he watched the other people around him mkaing their way into classrooms.
"Fuck," he grumbled, "Lessons have started,"

He wandered around for a good 10 minutes after the halls had emptied of people before finding the right room and entering with a "Sorry, I didn't know where I was going"

Marcus sat in the hour of math with Riley, again not paying attention. The boys say at the same table, writing on a piece of paper back and forth, and also playing noughts and crosses. He sat there wondering how to 'convince' Helios. The obvious thing is to challenge him, but Marcus was too high and mighty to do that. He wanted to prove himself by doing it through intimidation alone. He wondered if Tucker was having any luck, if Helios was around him at the moment,

Tucker walked into class, twenty minutes late. He was never on time. There was no reason to be. He walked to the back of the room, ignoring the teacher's questions, and stood there, looking around. He caught sight of the boy before he caught the scent, surprisingly. He smiled a bit. It was perfect. He could be the one to impress Marcus this time around.

Helios backed himself into the corner as he saw one of the boys from earlier enter the room, he'd hoped that maybe he'd hide from his view, which failed as he saw the boy's eyes turn to him.

"HI!" Came a loud, cheery voice to his right, causing the blonde to jump and effectively, run into the wall he'd back himself against. He turned his head, casually coughing and sorting his hair as if he hadn't just smacked into the wall. His gaze turned to the reason he'd jumped, a smiling little Brunette girl.

"Er... hello" Helios replied, slightly put off by the girl's happiness. He glanced back over to the boy from earlier, slightly nervously as the brunette talked at him.

"You're the new boy aren't you? I could tell from your hair, no one around here has hair like yours... I'm Alice" She said in one breath, holding out her hand.

"Helios..." He repiled quietly, giving her hand a quick shake, wondering if maybe Alice could be a reason for the pack to leave him be, he didn't really want another confrontation like earlier

Tucker smiled as Helios was bombarded by a perky attack from Alice. That girl was all over everyone like flies to honey. She was too sweet and too friendly- just the kind of girl that Marcus would find a pest, but Tucker found sort of attractive. He watched the two, his eyes only leaving the target on occasion, when something or someone else caught his attention. Tucker would be happy to report back to Marcus that the target was in his class, however, it would also mean he would be forced to attend and even participate in the class its self from then on, which he despised the notion of doing.

After awhile of watching Alice and Helios, Tucker decided to make an entrance into their conversation, and perhaps ruffle Helios' feathers, so to speak. He walked over with a small smile on his face and said, "Hey, Alice. I see you've met my friend Helios. You two are getting along, I hope." in a sweet voice he only ever gave a female. .

Helios felt his expression drop for a moment but quickly recovered, as the boy from earlier approached them, visably cringing as he heard himself being reffered to as 'his friend'

"Hey Tucker," Alice said in her cheery voice, "Helios is your friend too?"

Helios resisted the urge to smack himself in the face as the words left Alice's mouth, instead, he settled for glaring at Tucker from the corner of his eye. Alice bounced a little on the spot, reminding Helios of an over excited little puppy, he was sure if she had a tail it would be whacking him in the side and she wouldn't realise.

"Oh yes, We're getting along wonderfully, Aren't we Helios?" Alice said, turning to look at the poor blonde, her long brown hair bouncing with her movements.

"Er... yea..." Helios said reluctantly, glancing from Alice to Tucker and back again. Alice quickly reached out and grabbed Helios's arm, making him jump once more, he knew he'd have to be on guard around Alice if she was always like this.

"Hey Hel, can I call you Hel? What's your next lesson? Maybe we'll have the same class, I can sit with you if you like, it'll be fun!" Alice said, Helios was sure if she didn't slow down she'd run out of breath. He edged away a little, but unable to get too far as his arm was still grasped by Alice.
"Uur..." He began, "I think it's something like... Math?" He was unsure, though he remembered vaguely seeing math on his schedule for today. He watched as Alice's face fell and her excitable bouncing stopped.
"Oh," She said, looking positively heartbroken for a moment, before visably perking up, "Oh well, doesn't matter, does it? I'm sure I'll see you in some other lessons and we always have this lesson and lunch and things to hang out!"

'Oh lord, help me' Helios thought to himself

Tucker smiled the whole time. Alice could play a part in tormenting the boy better than Tucker might be able to, which made him laugh. "Yep, Helios and I are friends. And Marcus and Riley too, right Helios? We think Helios would be a good addition to our group, don't you, Alice?" he smiled at her.

Helios pulled a face as Tucker spoke to Alice, "Yeah, yeah.." He grumbled, his eyes flicking to his watch hoping the lesson was nearing it's end, and for the fist time in his life, Helios was anxious to get to maths, his last lesson of the day.

"Oh yes! The four of you would make a fantastic little group!" Alice said enthuiastically, clapping her hands. Oh how Helios wished he could make her stop talking.

Before anything else was said Helios decided to stop the conversation, "Oh look at the time! The lesson's over!" He said, grabbing his bag from the floor and pushing through the two infront of him, "Bye Alice, bye... Tucker..." He said as he quickly made his way out of the classroom before anyone else had even picked up their bags. He rushed to Maths room, he knew where this one was, he'd been in it earlier.

"Well that was a bit rude..." Alice said to no one in particular as she watched the door Helios had just run out of

When Helios rushed out, Tucker smiled to himself, but when Alice spoke he turned to her, "It's not you, Alice, I'm pretty sure he doesn't like me very much..." he said, knowing it was the truth, of course, "See, we just met and Marcus said something to him that he just didn't like, and since me and Riley backed him up... you know." she shrugged and gave an expression as in the 'what can you do?' way.

Tucker grabbed his bag and on his way to PE, informed Marcus, briefly of what had happened. Marcus nodded, proud of his packmate and walked off to class with the other two.

All too soon, Helios found himself walking slowly back to the School, the weekend was over and he didn't like it at all.

He had glanced at the paper with his lessons on before he left home, his first lesson of the day was one of those, "We're going to prepare you for life" Kinda lessons, which, to him, seemed to be more, "We're going to embaress you all as much as we can and laugh about it later in the staffroom" lessons.

He huffed softly as he held his bag-straps loosely, following the steady flow of people into the school.
Somewhere during his journey to his classroom, Alice popped up beside him, insisting that, as they had the same class first, she'd escourt him to the classroom. Helios didn't argue.

They were two if the first into the classroom, and as Helios didn't have a seat yet, he wandered along beside Alice, being talked to as he stood casually beside her desk as she sorted out her bag for the lesson.

(sorry about how late this was)

Marcus and the boys took his car to the school, deciding that the bus was just too much of a hassle that day. Their tension was growing with the approach of the full moon that Saturday night, and the 'hormones' were rushing- the ones that would change them into their natural, and preferred, werewolf selves, of course. Due to their excitement over the approaching moon and the intense competitions from the weekend that had passed, they had essentially forgotten their new issue named 'Helios'. Their first class, together, was health/life skills, a class none of them particularly enjoyed, but today was the 'marriage and child' exercise, which would last a week. They weren't informed what precisely that would entail, however.

When they reached the classroom, they saw that all the other students were already there, though they were still on time, surprisingly. Early in the morning, none of them had the energy to find a place to skip class. They also noticed Helios was there as well, talking to Alice. Tucker rolled his eyes, but the others had smirks on their faces. They took their places in the back of the class and waited for the teacher to enter, right as class was supposed to began, toting two boxes on a pulley cart. She began to tell them that the general idea of the assignment was fora girl and a boy to be paired up and take home a 'baby', a doll, to 'raise' as a real child. She took a deep breath before taking a deep inhale, "The only trouble is there are not enough girls in the classroom, and since monogamy is called for here, two boys will be paired together. Do with that what you will among the two of you." she said.

"Let's get paired up!" she smiled, moving on, "I have a list of who will be paired with whom, and when I call your names, pair up and come get your child!" she said, beginning down the list. To Tucker's suppressed excitement, he was paired with Alice, and Riley was paired with a brunette girl in the class named Sarah. Marcus waited as the teacher went down the list, calling names and pairing couples with their child. His eyes darted around as they were reaching the bottom of the list- he was counting the girls that were left and his chances were getting slimmer as the number of boys went down as well. He calmed himself down as he noticed Helios wasn't being called either. 'I hope he gets stuck with the dude...' he snickered in his mind. Marcus found himself distracted by the thought when he finally heard his name: And of course, there is... Marcus and Helios" the teacher said.

Marcus' jaw instantly dropped as he stared at her, "WHAT!?" he asked, speechless except that one, loud, word. His eyes moved to Helios briefly, before he slapped a hand over his eyes. 'Guess they mean it when they say "be careful what you wish for.'" he thought, groaning. How utterly embarrassing! And with HIM too! It couldn't get any worse...

Helios stood nervously beside Alice's empty desk as she had wandered off to pair with Tucker when her name had been called.
He was slightly pleased that the pairs were pre-arranged, seeing as no one really knew him at the moment, he figured that this way, atleast he'd get a partner.

Shifting nervously as he watched the number of people stood on their own dwindle, he scanned around the room, looking at who he might be paired with. Eventually, and of course, his name was read out last, even in the pairing, he found himself paired in the boy group, him and Marcus.

Almost at the same time Marcus said "What", Helios fell to his knees beside Alice's desk and smacked his head against the leg of the table once, groaning quietly in annoyance. He knew he was making a scene, to those who could see him anyway, but he didn't care.

He sighed, pulling himself up with the aid of Alice's desk, glaring at the teacher and muttering "Why?" more to himself than to anyone else. His ice blue eyes darted to glance at Marcus, a slight canine snarl on Helios' lips as he roughly snatched his bag up from the floor, no way he was leaving that unattended. He was annoyed that he had been paired with the one person in the class he had wished he wouldn't be paired with. Just his luck.

He lent against the desk, his bag hitched up over his shoulder, staring daggers at the teacher and Marcus in turn.

Marcus caught the glares from Helios and returned them just the same, while defending, 'Hey! It's not like I want to be paired with you, pretty boy! " he stood up, walking to the teacher who held out the baby doll, which he grabbed by the arm. He walked up to the other werewolf and shoved the baby at him, "You're the mommy, dear." he said, refusing to be humiliated any longer.

"BOYS! Stop this nonsense, now!" the teacher warned.
