(May I start this? I know how I'd like it to begin ^^)

Ora sighed as she ran through the desert heat the sun beating down on her pail exposed skin. She kept looking back to make sure no one was fallowing her and that she had insured her escape. She had been running for about a day trying to flee from the merchants that were trying to beat her for stealing some of their stuff. She had a canteen on her belt and had been taking small drinks from it whenever she truly needed it though now there was nothing left and she was hoping she found somewhere to stop soon or she knew she would die trying to keep her stolen treasure. Soon hours turned into another half day and Ora was becoming too weak to move on though tried to push herself forward to get to the house she had raided a few months back... though that failed when she finally fell to the ground about 50 or 60 miles away from a cave panting hard as the extreme heat of the high noon desert sun baked her skin. "Da... DARNIT!... I... I'm gonna shrivel up and die right here! Ow ain't that wonderful! I just had to raid that shop didn't I! STUPID!" she grumbled to herself quietly as she started to feel dizzy from the heat.

Tony really didnt want to be outside on a day like this, even for the desert the heat was much more oppressive than usual. The drought had lasted longer than his family had expected and life was becoming harder than usual for them, but there was a light humidity in the air that gave the faintest promise of some relief to this horrible dry spell.
Tony whined slightly as he continued to pad along the dry desert bed, snuffling around as he walked in hopes that he would come across some form of food. So far he had only found skeletons and dried up carcass, casualties of the blistering heat that the birds and coyotes had already picked clean, nothing that a hungry family of shifters could live off of. With a little huff Tony sat down on the dry earth to catch his breath, and really started to question the intelligence of being out in a full fur coat in this weather.
"But then again i wont get sun burn." He thought to himself with an internal chuckle. Tony was just about to give up and head back to the den when suddenly he saw movement behind a dying bush up ahead. Slowly he lowered his head to conceal himself, his ginger fur blending in with the red desert floor perfectly, and get a better look. It was a rabbit. Tony licked his chops with hunger. It wasnt very big but it was fresh so it would do for now.
Tony waited patiently for the little fur ball to turn away before he pounced after it. The rodent noticed him a split second too soon and scurried down its hole again.
Tired and defeated the wolf growled and flopped down on the ground angrily, panting in the hot sun. He laid there for a long wile, just catching his breath and scolding himself and his accursed luck when another sound came into his ears. Breathing. Not the rapid hurried breathing of the rabbit from underground, but rather a slow, gasping sound.
"Human!" He thought in a panicked tone and sprung up from his spot on the ground. Looking ahead of him he could easily see the girl lying a few paces in front of him. The girl looked hurt, unconscious, but still, he was wary. With slow tentative steps he closed in on her until he was only a few feet away. He didnt recognize her smell as he circled her, this worried him slightly, but also eased his worry's that it was one of the farmers daughters from the nearby towns. Before approaching he let out a low warning growl and then, when she didnt move, he went up to her and began to snuffle her to see if she was hurt or, if she was beyond saving, if she had any money on her.

Ora groaned softly as she felt his eyes on her and heard his growl. She had no fear of the wolf even though she knew she could easily become a snack for the great creature. Her body was still and her breaths soft, slow... dying, as she laid there on the ground. She knew she was dying and she didn't truly care at this point if she was devoured or not... At least dying like that would be interesting and sooth her want and love of pain... Though depending on the type of wolf and how friendly it was the pain could be harder then she wanted... She just laid there her eyes still opened slightly though unfocused as she stared at the dust clouds that came and went. She was calmed and didn't waist the little energy she had freaking out about the wolf the circled and stared at her... She just wished he would go ahead and kill her... or do what he was going to to her.

Tony jumped a little as the girl suddenly came to life again before his eyes. Well, she was conscious at least and she seemed to respond to his presence. That was a good enough sign. Seeing that she was awake he gave up on his search for loot and returned to her side to look over her again. To his relief he could find no obvious injuries.
"Shes probably just dehydrated," He thought to himself and hoped that it hadn't gone as far as heat stroke. If it was that bad there was really no hospital nearby. Panicking a little at the idea of watching the girl die, he went up to her face and began licking her to see if she would give any response. He ran over what little first aid training he had through his head. For a moment he considered turning back into a human but resisted, deciding it would be better to hold off, just in case she was conscious enough to remember that detail later and continued to lick her face encouragingly.

(Though I loved the intro so I was happy to read it ^^ )

Ora groaned and out of her normal reaction opened her mouth slightly and bit the wolfs tongue hating the feel of it on her face. It was only that of a pinch so it wouldn't really hurt she just did it because it was in her nature to hate being touched.... More or less licked... She groaned again as her head pounded more and more and she let out a cough or two then was silent again as her eyes closed and her wheezy breathing got a bit softer and less noticeable. "if you're not going to kill me... just go away..." she thought as she huffed softly and a small cough came after it.

Tony pulled away as she opened her mouth and waited for some kind of reaction. He wagged his tail in anxious anticipation as she laid there still baking in the hot sun. His heart sank into his heals and a low whine escaped him as she closer her eyes again.
"Dont fall asleep," He pleaded, as he wasnt too sure shed wake up again. With a bit of apprehension this time, he lowered his head to lick her face yet again, but when he saw that her breathing had become even worse a sharp prang of panic flew through him again. He stood up and let out a high desperate bark, hoping that it would rouse her again. But now he didnt even wait for a reaction. The situation was getting out of hand and he needed to get her out of the heat now.
Without another thought he shifted into his human form. It was a quick proses that didnt hurt nearly as much as it should have as his bones warped and cracked under his flesh untill he finally became his human self again. He looked like a perfectly normal teenage boy now and the only sign of his former self was the tawny red and white remnants of his pelt lying in clumps on the desert floor.
Tony almost immediately regretted the decision as he looked down on her with the sun beating down on his back, which was already staring to burn even through his shirt.
"Miss!" He squeaked in a panic, sounding very pathetic, as he shook her lightly and leaned over her to provide some meager amount of shade, "You can hear me right? Stay awake ok!?"

(Ug ><* I'm sorry can we please not have that type of shifter in this... I hate that concept! It sucks! I had never heard of it until Twilight came out and even though I liked the books I hated that XP sorry didn't know you used that concept or I would have warned you of how much I loathe it....)

((Hah, what kind of shifter do you mean? XD You mean the old fashioned 'only come out on full moon' types?))

(No the same type you were doing just... They can shift and their clothes still be on... yeah... I don't like the old fashioned type either XP Sorry bout not warning ya...)

((But...that doesnt make any sense...Why would the clothes stay on? O.o I mean do the clothes like morph into the skin? XD I didnt know that was an actual type of shifter. I mean even Fruits Basket made that point XD.
Ill definitely change it, its just logically it doesn't make any sense.))

Ora moaned again softly though only stirred a little and her eyes remained closed. She could hear him somewhat though she couldn't respond right or even open her eyes again. It seemed she was too far gone... or at least going, for her to respond. Her breaths stayed at the slow quiet pace they had been for most of the time she had been laying there.
(Thank you... sorry for being difficult...)

((Its fine really. I dont mind. Its just ive never honestly heard of anything like that before...except maybe like Animorphs or something XD And you have to admit it really makes no sense biologically...well, as much sense as a werewolf can make XD))

"Ahhhh crap in a hat!" he said, as he went into a serious frenzy of panic, "Just hold on alright"
Tony tired, in vain, for a moment to calm himself down a bit. It was futile however as the girl continued to fade in front of his eyes. He needed to get her out of here as fast as possible.
"But how?" He thought. He didnt have a cellphone on him and an ambulance wouldn't come all the way out into the desert anyway. The other option was to carry her to the den or the hospital, but he might very well collapse from the exhaustion of carrying her. Tony looked down at the dying girl then, his heart fluttering like a bird, and in that moment decided that he would rather try than watch her die in front of his eyes.
He took in a long breath, a feeble attempt to calm himself, and wrapped his arms around the girl and picked her up into the air bridal style. He didnt waist a moment and ran as fast as he could towards the den, seeing as the hospital was an impossibility distance wise.

(I know I know leave me alone XP I just don't like the concept one little bit... and I don't like sparkly vampires either though I love Edward XD )

Ora groaned softly at the motion and movements as Tony picked her up and started running with her. Her normal reaction rather she was hurt or not was to try and get out of the mans arms though right now anything was better then laying on the hot desert ground. "Ug why does he care if I die! I'm a thief! It's how I live and how I like to live... Who in the right mind would want to keep me alive?! Ow well... Like it really matters..." she thought and coughed slightly then was quiet once more her breaths still wheezy and unsteady.

((Niahah im having way too much fun with this argument XD I apologize in advance. And really the concept of disappearing and reappearing clothing is actually much stranger if you think about it. Plus its not something thats unique to Twilight, in fact it goes back to the old werewolf movies, ive seen multiple tv shows with it too, even to the point were the guy purposefully takes off his clothes because he knows he cant keep them on. Guy goes wolf, rips his clothes off as he changes, eats some people and wakes up stark naked and covered in blood. Classic Wolfie formula. Plus i hate Twilight weres...because of the whole telepathy thing and the 'were here only to kill vampires' thing. I mean...seriously WHY?))

Tony didnt even bother to look down at the girl as he ran, he needed to focus on getting out of the desert for both of their sakes at this point. Even after a few strides he could already feel himself overheating in the hot sun. His muscles ached horribly and screamed at him for running without any water.
"Oh god water..." He thought as he ran, unable to stop himself from slowing down a bit, but he fought back the urge to stop. If he stopped he wouldnt be able to get going again. The girl seemed to get heavier and heavier as he ran, even thought she was rather light to him, but somehow he managed to keep going.
After about fifteen minuets of sprinting across the seating desert floor, the den finally came into view. His heart lept from his chest as he saw the familiar home. The den itself was the mouth of a fairly large cave formed from the mountain around it. Inside was an old red Ford Mustang that stuck out like a soar thumb and made the cave look more like a parking garage than his home. The car was for the rare occasion that they went into town and for emergencies like this. But first he needed water, for both of them.

( XD my friend agrees with you and so do I though with fantasy I like going a little more to fiction... I mean... I wouldn't mind the clothes ripping... I mean look at my girl for peats sake XD Though I'd rather say they at least have some of their clothes on...)

Ora's body had gotten so used to the movements she barely felt them now. She had slipped rather deep into the darkness of her mind and her body was almost numb with how hot her skin had become. Her breaths continued to stay at their pace though soon seemed to drop slightly as she slowly started to let go of her hold... or attempt at holding onto her life knowing soon she would die and she didn't care.

((Before we continue with the rp, do you plan to play any other characters? Like some of the shifters in the clan?))

((Truthfully im the exact opposite XD I love when fantasy stories have at least some shred of possibility to them because it actually makes you stop a second to think about it. I think when an author can make you think like that you've pretty much gotten the reader hooked XD. A great example is Vix Virals zombie story and, for tv, the animal planet special 'Dragons'. And again, i honestly dont care if they do absorb their clothing or anything, im just in a ranty mood XD. Sorry for my, uh, ranting X3))

(I'll be some of the wolves though unless they actually link to my character I won't put too much depth into them... though they will have some level of depth ^^ )

(lol ow now see I do like that though I just love to say some stuff is up with the character that is... impossible? Well like I like making people think too though I also love give my characters a bit of personality like saying... um... in a certain mood her wolf ears or tail pop out in human form? Like human with animal traits...)

((ok, i just wanted to make sure. I didnt want to just jump in. I have a few characters too, but their mostly Tonys family and such))

Tony dragged himself and the girl into the cave, staggering from exhaustion. With his last bit of energy he laid the girl down against the cool rock wall of the cave, taking care that she was propped up securely, before collapsing to his knees on the floor.
"H-hey!" He called into the cave practically breathless. Unable to catch his breath quite yet he laid his hands down on the cold dirt floor, relishing the cool feeling, and allowed himself another moment to recover from his run. He did not give himself very long though as a moment later he called again, still breathless, for help from his clan.
"HEY! Help!..." He paused and drew in another ragged breath, "N-need...help. Someone bring water!"

((There's nothing wrong with impossible situations in fantasy story's, i mean its fantasy for goodness sakes, i mean ive done loads of things in story's that dont make the slightest bit of sense, im just saying that split second when you actually stop and think about it really adds to it and tends to make the whole experience much more captivating. And i think thast more along the lines of cartoon/anime antics than personality traits. Again, nothing wrong with it. Plus it is adorable to see ears pop up out of nowhere XD))

Ora moaned softly as she was sat down though didn't move or wake as she was still passed out. A few moments passed then a girl came running from the back of the cave with a rather large full canteen of water. "There you are! Momma was worried!" The girl said as she stopped and handed Tony the canteen then looked at the girl that was leaned against the wall of the cave "Tony? Who is this?" the girl asked looking at Ora cocking her head to one side slightly. The girl was a younger sibling in the pack to Tony and loved to help him in any way she could. Her name was Nicky and she was only nine though she understood responsibility and how the clan worked fully.

Tony let out a sigh of relief at Nickys arrival and took a greedy swig from the canteen for himself before even thinking of the girls current state. After at least curbing his thrust he looked back over at the girl and exchanged a quick glance with Nicky before splashing a bit of the canteen water on the girl to cool her off a bit and to hopefully wake her from her unconscious state if able.
"I have no idea who she is," he admitted, shaking slightly but feeling a bit better at least with a bit of water in him now, "She was just laying out there in the desert...Shes not from any of the farms, and she was dying...so...Well...i coudlnt just let her die without at least trying to save her. I need to get some water in her...and get her to a hospital orsomething...i think she might have heat stroke or something. I mean, she fainted, so...thats...thats bad isnt it?"
He said nervously, running a shaky hand through his hair as he thought of what to do.

"I think... It can't be good... I don't know ask Momma I'm only nine!" Nicky squeacked as she looked at the girl that was now slightly wet. Ora groaned softly as she was splashed with the cool water and her eyes opened ever so slightly. Her thoughts were moving slower then ever and she couldn't seem to prosses her thoughts right.

Tony slaped his face lightly to knock some sense into himself.
"Get ahold of yourself Tony!" He though to himself angrily.
"Sorry Nick," He said and patted the girls head with mild thanks, "Im kind of jittery right now, go get mom ok? And tell her to get the keys, i think this calls for a road trip"
He chuckled nervously at his words though he really wasnt sure why.
From the corner of his eye Tony saw the girl move ever so slightly. His heart lept with joy and dread as he looked at her again. She looked horrible, he wondered how much time she had left. Panic rose up from his gut again as he flipped over rather clumsily to face her. Hands still shaking slightly, he picked up the canteen and held it up to her, only a few inches from her face, offering it to her silently.
"Hey? You there? Im going to get you help ok?" He said, doing his best to sound reassuring, "Here, drink something ok?"
