Hey, guys. ^_^ I haven't been into this forum in a while...

But, anyway, I have two sketches here like I'd very much like to be critiqued on.
They are both fan arts of characters from the game MegaMan.EXE. (The quality on these may look very bad since the paper I drew them on is bigger than the scanner I scanned them on.)

The first one is of Roll, holding some recovery data. I just finished her this morning. I started working on it on the 10th, working about an hour 1/2 each night (skipping one day), for the total of, about 4 hours ( I was also singing to some music while I drew it, so that, too might have been the cause to slow me down... >_>)

I am very iffy about her hands, feet, and back, so, if they look out of place to you, please do let me know! Redlines are also very helpful, if you have the time.

This next one is of ProtoMan (aka Blues, in Japan), holding the Muramasa. In the manga version of the story, when Protoman is using this sword, his whole outfit changes into a more... Ninja, I guess you could say, outfit. It's basically the same as his regular outfit, only with belts everywhere...
I do have to say, though, I got his pose is from another character from a different vdeo game, but I'm not sure what it's called, unfortunately...
Not sure how long his one took me to do. I finished it a little less than a month ago, though. If you happen to see anything fishy with the anatomy on him, PLEASE do let me know! I want to make sure he looks just right before I ink and color him in.

His legs look a bit too long for me... Are they? XD

The first one is so lovely! I really like her pose. Her eyes are so pretty, and her helmet thing is very detailed. You mentioned her hands, feet, and back, looking off. Her hands do look a little small, and her feet look a little large, though I am not sure if that is just part of the character. Her back looks fine to me, but her waist and hips look a little too tiny for some reason, maybe that is what is making it appear strange to you? I do like the position her hands are in, though, they look posed without looking... posed. If that makes any sense? Probably not, but I'm not quite sure how to express what I'm trying to say here.

For the second one, I would again like to comment on your EXCELLENT job on the pose! I love the foreshortening! I like how his hair is out behind him, and his smile says so much about his personality and mood, without even having to see the eyes. I think you are right about the legs- they looked fine to me, but when I imained him standing up straight, it does seem like they'd be a bit too long.

You did a splendid job, these are lovely pieces of work!

Thanks. ^_^ And, I know what you mean about the hands. You see, I stink at drawing hands (I've been trying to get better at them...) so the hands are from two different images. Her right hand, however (in the photograph that I was looking at for reference) only showed three fingers, and I thought that looked too awkward on her, so I added two fingers on it. The other was the same way.

But, hopefully I can amend that problem as I ink it. As for the hips, yeah, I see what you mean there... I'll definatly try to fix that problem. =) Ah, and, yes, her feet/boots are supposed to be kind of big... No clue why, that's just how they look. xD They're probably very think to protect her, or something... >_>

But, anyway, as for Protoman, thanks for pointing out the leg issue. That's something that I definatly eaisly fix as I ink it out (I'll just have to ink them last, is all.)

Thanks again for the helpful critique!! =)
