How's my linework?
I have a strong aversion to actually coloring anything, so don't expect anything of that nature from me. :~/ Haha.

I guess it took me the better part of a day and a half...? I had a 3-day weekend just recently, so I decided to take the time and make it all spiffy. :~)

When it comes to coloring I just really suck at it. :~/ Like, my color palettes are usually very flat and boring. So I just stick to trying to make my lineart look awesome or do some monochromatic shading instead.

Speaking of which! This is about a month old, but I'd still like to get some critiques on it.



These were practices. Of course, the bottom one is a tad unfinished...
Characters from the same game as the last one. I think I might revisit doing relatively lineless pieces; I've been neglecting my OCs for far too long.

Goodness! o__o <3 I love your lines and monochromatic shading. (I hope you open a shop here, I'd love to buy art of my OCs. :3)

I'm not an artist myself, so I can't give a very good critique. ^^; The only thing that sticks out to me is the face of the shaded girl. Her eyes especially seem a little off, but it's not terribly distracting.

yes perhaps a colour reference would be wonderfully appreciated. ^_^ *huggles*

...Why do you need to have coloring skills if you can obtain such amazing drawing and drafting skill?

That is just plain amazing and awesome. Have such amazing detail and the line quality, I give 100%!


*nitpick mode* If it is a poster, and it is meant to be drawn in plain lineart, then I suggest a few points to look at. The distribution of details, try not to clash too much details in the same area especially if it is 2 different items/persons.
I am not sure why... when I try to look carefully to find flaws(I am evil...), after a few seconds, my eyes feel tired...
hmm.... which also mean, if people are not observing the poster the way I did, maybe it is no problem at all~

Zivvy - Ah, you flatter me so! ;~D I really don't mind the nitpicking; in fact, I wholly encourage it. Yeah, I think it's because of my inexperience with doing group pictures and composition in general - it was my second time doing something of that scale.
