Little Phoenix. Platinum's Art Thread! [Update, Dec. 20th- Close up!]
Hello everyone, and welcome to my art thread! Here I will be showing you all works that I've done, including completed pieces, works in progress, and maybe even things that I've doodled on my notes. The order in which you see these images will be from new to old, and you will find that occasionally some of them will disappear. This is because I am re-doing the image completely, or just really don't like it anymore.
Update: December 17th, 2008 Here's the current piece I am working on. She is a character of mine with a very long back story I really don't want to explain. This design started out in my head, then I tried creating it on Menewsha, and I modified it a bit to fit the particular outfit a bit more. It's a mid-motion piece, so balance was taken into account, but she is not meant to look like she is standing. Hopefully the movement of the clothes helps that somewhat. Also: I started drawing this months ago. My anatomy has improved, but I could not bring myself to completely re-do the image when I'd already invested so much on it. I did fix the arm and leg positioning (yes, they were even MORE strange than they are now), so I'm pretty pleased with it: http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/d...heChibiPho.png I like saturated colors. Sue me XD And Yes. I do realize I accidentally colored part of her leg purple, when it's supposed to be a continuation of the black leggings. That will definitely be fixed. UPDATE, DECEMBER 20th, 2008 Close-up! wow, nice job! I like your style a lot. I like how the coloring is really simple on the outfit but has more complex shading on the hands and face. That's really cool. I'm definitely watching you on deviantart.
