I'm thinking of selling art on here. Do you think my sketches would be any good if I cleaned them up? Do you like how I color or is it too messy? :squee: (I just love that icon)

(Just imagine that they are clean and not trashy looking Dx)
Thanks for any advice. n___n

The WIP is stunning, I'm in love with the lips, never seen that effect before!

You're amazing at drawing, especially with coloring!
I can't even color that good, even for a WIP! ..

If they were edited up some, yeah. Don't really like the long neck the first character has.
I like the design of white tank top type shirt and your coloring work.

I'd probably say you need to develop your proportions a bit, and if you're going to stylize, stick to it.

Elongation of the human form is a style dating back centuries to a school of art called Mannerism, which focused on graceful gestures. Keep in mind therefore that, in order to pull of elongated limbs (and the rest of the form needs to match! Think of archetypal shojo manga style), there needs to be a sense of movement and grace, an artistic reason for them to be extra long. Otherwise what happens is, like in the second sketch, the arms just hang there, looking, of I may, slightly dislocated.

Good luck with your artistic development!

Wow thanks for the advice and critique everyone.
I didn't realize that the girl's neck was so long.

I now notice that are differences in the width of the first girl's arms. D:
I really should take a step back and look at my drawings closer
