I think it shows promise ^_^
I like that you used similar colors for the outlines instead of just using black however I think it was not wise to blur the outline of the hair- it has an inconsistency with the rest of your drawing (where everything else is clearly defined) ((although I do admit that the only reason I ever use blur is for the shadow's lines but even then I detest it))
I also like the music bar in the background ^_^
- if I were you I would try experimenting more with changing the line size to emphasize borders versus accents/folds.

Yeah, I agree with the above.

The blurred hair looks kind of sloppy.
Try using a smaller brush size for finer details as well, like the eyes. The lashes/dark edges on the eyes are a little too big in my opinion.

As far as drawing goes, maybe try drawing the face a bit bigger, or at least make it so that you can see the face a bit more.

I agree with what's already been said above. the music bar is awesome! :) and i really like the colors & facial expression, it's a really fun drawing!

Try using different width's and sizes for your brush strokes. I think it will give it a more pro look to it. However, colouring as such in Photoshop does take time, so I say keep it up. Learn, look at examples. Nothing's wrong with that:D
Perhaps not blur it as much around the edges. Very nice music notes tho! and better than I can stand to do on photoshop.

I think it looks just fine, although it could have some work.
I agree with what melody said, it does makes him look crazy :P So it kinda fits.
The folds however do seem like they need some fixing, like some more defyning the folds would do.

I like it, but yeah, the fuzzy hair is rather odd and sticks out.
