Uh, coloring help vv;
I drew this few hours ago, and yes, it's unfinished.
I feel like something is missing or wrong. but I don't even know what [duh] any help about coloring is appreciated. her hair is red, shall I add silver tone to it? WIP |

Well, I think the colors look fine, only thing that's missing is some shading. Perhaps add a gradient to the sky (perhaps even add some purple tint) and add crates to the moon.
I also feel like her skin tone is too... grey. However, I don't know if that was your intention? Maybe she's a vampire or something lol Personally, I didn't realize she was there, until I second checked the picture after I read there was supposed to be someone in there. Maybe you should try showing more of her- I also can't really see how are you going to draw the hair is you can barely see her head/face. Other than that, red hair sounds good, it would definitely contrast with the rest of the colors in the picture and really pop-up. You could even add some red-ish color to the sky, to make the drawing look balanced :) Anyways, good luck! And those are my two cents. |
the character is almost unnoticeable. i'm not sure if that was your goal.
the profile looks like an abstract gray shape in the corner and doesn't really attract any attention. i'd suggest making more of the head visible, and maybe making it a bit more detailed and bigger. oh and the moon doesn't really glow, maybe you should add a gray-deep blue gradient (done in pixels if it's supposed to be pixel art) or at least one more ring of colour that is a mix of gray and blue |
