Hello I'm new and i like PIRATES! Arr
i just wanted to say hello. i think i'm going to be most active on the art subforum on menewsha so here's my little introduction in pictures

Oh, I think those look fabulous!
I like seeing the different styles; I must say that my favorite ones are the second and third drawings. You seem to have a good sense of color and composition, and the coloring looks great too. The couple last drawings seem more cartoon-ish, while the ones above more realistic and detailed. However, I do like the simple shading, it looks great! I don't really have much to say, other than I'd love to see more of your work :) So kudos! |

I really love the top one. The way the light from the lantern hits the clothing and it blends nicely with the blue light source.

Oh, dear me~ Those are all quite lovely. I'm so happy to see something even slightly more realistic/semi-realistic on the site. I'm very tired of the same old shiny chibis and anime all the time, so many bits of luff.

Please do post more realistic stuff. It would be nice to see. I love the lighting on the top on. the tones of blue/green are fantastic. They're all really well drawn and I love your style.

oh my word O.O reading through all this is making me absolutely giddy! AND LOOK AT YOUR REALISM DRAWINGS! SO FREAKING GORGEOUS! i would absolutely love love love very much to get one of your black and white realism ones O.O i was wondering.. you said you may take commissions.. i, that is, if your interested, and i could provide a lot of refs, would you maybe consider making one of my chars (that i have a ton of anime drawings of) look more.. realistic? i found an image of a man online that looks exactly (nearly) how i imagine his facial features to look.. would that kinda stuff be more helpful? and er *curious* would you consider doing a waist up, er.. nude? its a man.. so i guess waist up nude is pg13 . . but the char has a smattering of scales. that is.. if its not trouble, and your interested.. and if ISE isnt alreayd ordering something fantastical ^^

EDIT: Well, I can offer a March '09 set (the Tatsu the red dragon and BaoBao the panda) which is about 3k - 4k and I'll toss in another 7k to make it a 10 - 11k offer. x3 It should help you get started on your commons. I fell in love with your first three examples. The first one I love, love love the motion, the use of color and mood to it. The second one, well, I love Art Noveau and cats = made of win <3 The third one is just awesome in itself, the color use to create the mood, the setting and the details. All three have a certain feel to them that suit the OC I'd like to toss at you, if that's alright? x3 |
