I'll give you a 5/5.

The coloured version is quite adorable. A few anatomy errors around the limb areas, but the energy from it is rather cute. ;D

As for the un-coloured version the note book lines kinda throw everything off. D;
Still has great energy though. <3

You have to work on your anatomy, dear, let me help you out.
Firstly, work with the facial structure. The head isn't connected to the neck properly, it is kind of crooked, you know? And one ear is higher up that the other.
Your shoulders are much to narrow, and don't look natural. Try to make them longer and more curved.
The arms are perfectly straight and have no proportion. I suggest look up how to draw arms on the net or in a book, because your are shapeless and don't look real. Also, work on you're hands quite a bit, as well.
I think the torso is too narrow, you should give it some shape.
Mainly, you should study anatomy altogether. If you look around, I'm sure you'll be able to find some good guides.
Good luck in improving!

@WinryxoxRockbell: Thanks for the tips, but about the shape. She's supposed to be little, like, 5 years old.

k, I fixed her up a little.

They're really cute. ^^
However, I would like to advise to watch your anatomy (try looking at anatomy references).
And how about trying to put some wrinkles into your clothing to give them some form? And also, shading and highlights could also be used.
And you CAN draw, anyone can draw, just as long as they are able to accept criticism. =]
Keep practicing and keep the tips that people give you in mind and I believe that you'll improve in no time. ^^

you are actually good for a begginer, dont be so harsh on yourself. why not try doing fan art? you know, like go look in a manga book and try to draw the characters.

It's very cute! You're good for a beginner. Although as other people have stated, there are problems in anatomy and things like that, but don't let that keep you down. Just keep drawing and practicing and you'll be the best in no time. :D

It's a very good start, but it lack depth.
The skin and clothes need shading, no shirts are perfectly flat, and human skin is rounded!
Once you shade, you'll have a way better style, and an amazing start!
Good luck :]

They look like chibis :D

Bunbun_chompper 08-14-2009 07:33 PM

I like the colors you used, but more detail is need to make them look real.
