I think you over-dithered by just a bit O_O;
Dithering can be very handy while pixeling round things, but moderation is best in anything and especially in pixeling& dithering. (:
The amount of dithering you used and it's distribution makes the orange look kind of grainy and like its shades are stair-casing upwards to the right, or more obviously just a very angular pattern (I'm not really conveying what I mean very well.. argh ><).
Next time, break away from the tutorial topic and try your own ideas to apply the lessons to~ Develop your own style and palletes instead of trying so hard to imitate another pixel artist. I'm sure Hannah would agree with that ^^

I love the orange.

The colors are great and the little shine areas in the shadow really add to the juiciness of it. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the leaves. The fruit itself has a defined light source but the leaves themselves just seem to be a pattern with no distinct lighting.

Looks pretty awesome, did you use KH's pixel tut. for it? I really love the brightness of it my only tips would be to get rid of the sparkles at the bottom or push them to the top and maybe place the leaves all to one side and angle them a bit differently rather than copying and pasting them. But really it looks awesome, and sssooooo cute I just wanna eat it. XD
