First finished attempt at the use of airbrushing and painting tools in the GIMP, where as I used to use Elements. I like the program, but I need to practice a bit more. I do like how the abs on her armor came out, and tried to duplicate it but couldn't figure out opacity and sizing correctly. In time.

Any suggestions?

Thank you, meankitty. I worked pretty hard on it, but I feel that by working on it for so long and in short bursts, I did lose a bit of sense of settings for opacity and stuff. XD

It looks good :D
but at one moment it was hard for me to tell if this character is a male or a female >_> the hips look very wide, but the breasts are small. It's good that you mentioned her gender in the comment, because otherwise I wouldn't have had an idea XD

The coloring makes it look like her whole outfit is made of clay... I think you need sharper, more defined shadowed areas, and some highlights on the armor and sword. :)
