Okay, so this is how it works:
There is a weekly theme, or bi-weekly depending on how many entries we get.
Winners will be picked by voting throughout the weekend. (Not by poll because you can only edit your poll once from what I have noticed.)
The winner will pick next week's theme.
This is to help artists with Artist's Block and to help them improve their skills with different medias and techniques.
Rules:
+ There can only be one winner
+ If you don't feel comfortable posting a picture on this thread (Because of Art Theft), then post a link directly to the picture on your dA account.
+ Don't tag back a theme. Meaning if someone suggests 'Love' for week 21 don't suggest 'Love' for weeks 22, 23, 24, or 25.
+ Keep all drawings PG-13 and below.
+ Follow Menewsha's ToS
+ Don't bash other's art. When voting, simply put the name of that person in your post.
+ Don't Fight, or argue with me or any of the members.
Q & A
Q: How many times can I submit an entry per week?
A: Twice. No More.
Q: Do we get paid?
A: No, this is solely just for fun and to help artists improve their artistic abilities as well as giving them a little extra inspiration.
Q: Is tracing okay?
A: ABSOLUTELY NOT. This is for original art only. I also ask that you try and refrain from drawing site avatars. OC's are fine.
Q: What kind of media can we use?
A: Unless stated otherwise by the previous winner, you can use anything including photomanipulation.
Q: Is fanart okay?
A: I'd ask that you try and refrain from using other's characters... just because they are easy to trace. However, if the theme happens to be Sailor Moon or something of that nature, then fanart is obviously fine.
Q: What kind of themes can we do?
A: Any kind. Be creative.
Q: Can we put a limit on what type of media is used to even the playing field?
A: Yes, you can. But you must be specific.
