I lost my wacom pen so I have been coloring all of my pictures with copic sketch and fine lining them with just an old sharpie. Obviously, any critiquing is welcome, but could I especially get some pointers on better tools, inks, and or colors to use whie fine-lining?

If you go to a store , doesn't matter what store most of the time , get indian ink. I don't remember the brand , but I used last year when I was drawing one of my pictures , and the Fine Tip makes it look good . Usually, I just go with a regular Pen to outline , and you can do that too if you don't want to go all out on fancy inks . It's easier to me that way .

That picture is amazing!
The detail in the jeans is outstanding.

But, alas, I fail with critique. I haven't been able to get my hands on cropics, so...I like skill and technique that I might be able to provide you with advice.
I'm sorry. D;
But I just saved a whole bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to Giecgo.
XD Just kidding. :3

I think the line art looks fine. I think a regular black ink pen might work fine. Test out how thick and thin the lines come out from them. I never tried Indian ink before like Wachoo suggested, but I might check that out...

The line art looks fine, as is your marker work. Very uplifting piece.

If you want to use something other then sharpies then look into ZIG Millenniums <3 them for inking because you can get them in a variety of sizes and colors. Or if you just want to go to walmart and pick up some pens, look for pens with waterproof and fade proof ink. And don't go with ball points, the ink catches on the ball all the time and can leave some nasty blurbs on your lines.
