I did this for someone over at gaia.
They haven't replied about it yet, but they had asked for a group pic with these avis and the two on the floor for the girl to be dominant over the blonde.
And also this was my first time painting over an actual picture (my living room).

So I hear all your complaints about the wall, and I don't really know how I would fix it besides just changing the color ^^;
I don't know how to use or put textures into SAI drawings, and IDK if oC *open Canvas* can open a .SAI file.
So the walls shall stay ugly white *also please direct the blame to my parents for wanting the house to be white. I wanted blue or something nice like that XD*

ALSO!
The reason for new ppl is that the requester wanted to have their brother and mines avi in it. And I know I went out of the lines on the avi in the bottom right, but that's because I really kind of stopped caring. XD

It's very cute, however the white walls create a huge dead space above the figures. Some kind of subtle patterned wall paper in a subdued color would help keep it from being so stark and distracting.

Oh, wow, yah... I agree about the walls being very... um... there? They're blank, they're not really colored... but honestly can't recommend anything. I fail at backgrounds. (Pretty brilliant idea to paint over an actual photo of a room, though! I should try that. >> Even if I completely change it, at least the dimensions will look nice...) I don't think a non-artist would mind the stark blank walls really, especially over just avatar art group picture. (I kind of wonder what the blonde's CoCo kitty is thinking. o-o)

It's great. The only problem is the........ wall.

I Love the colors and the character are so cute, But the walls need to have some life put into them. I Also think the character themselves look stiff and slightly unnatural. Play around with the way the character are placed in the environment to make then look like as natural postilion. Rember The human body has very few to no straight lines on it.
