I drew this then scanned it and pen-tooled the lines and ended up with this. This is my first time doing armored characters so I would like opinions, please.

The armor design looks pretty neat but her fingers are a little thick and her face could look better with more detail. I'm not entirely sure if her right arm is a bit too long or is it just the pose. Something is just off about it but maybe it's the fingers. What program are you using for lineart? I'd like if the wings lines were connected but that's my personal opininon. Nice job. I am way too inpatient to use the pen tool ever myself even though it makes very clean lines.

Her legs are a bit thick too. The ankles on a human are actually pretty skinny. Also the leg facing forward should be longer then the sideways one because it's in the foreground.

Great job on the wings, you did the feathers very well.

Well, her left (my left looking at the computer screen) wing is very well done, but her right one doesn't appear to be connected to her at all. You might want to tinker around with it by thinking of it as another arm. That's how I work with wings since on birds and bats they basically are the arm.

Also, something is off about the proportions of her legs and arms. I feel like the legs are a mite too short for her and her arms are a little too long.

However, I like the face, hair, and armor. All have a nice amount of detail for me.

Great job on the lines =) The body is drawn well and realistic. Not all Angel warrior chicks have to have long, thin and twig-like legs.

Overall, it's a nice looking warrior angel. The legs look off, they appear to be alittle too thick, I don't see any ankles or sign of them and you are not paying enough attention to the proper length of each leg for the pose. I love her waist line, it's gorgeous and the wing that's closed is fabulous. However, the other wing looks disjointed, as if it's not really attached to her, simply...behind her. Overall, it's a lovely picture though, so keep up the good work!

Looks like the wing that's outstretched is attached to the hair, actually. Mostly because of the slope of it leading towards the hair.

Also seems like it wouldn't match the shape of the folded wing, were it unfolded.

I love the wings and the designs on the armor.
Her legs seem a little short to me, but that could just be me.

It looks really good : 3. But as a critique, Id have to say, that your hand shouldnt be quite that long. But other then that, it looks really good.

The hip area could use some work. It's like her pelvic area isn't connected properly and it looks like she has no butt. :p

I think you should have used thinner lines for the wings and the thicker lines for the figure because the bolder lines are more eye catching. As it is now, I focus more on the wings than the actual girl. You have so much love to her armor, but very little on the poor thing's face. It's like her wings are the star of the show!

Also her arms are too long..or her legs are too short. Maybe both.
