I think they're pretty cute though! But to save the quality of your picture, I can recommend you to use a scanner, or a very good camera, and good lighting. xD But they're pretty cute. :3 If you want to go into drawing avatars or anything like that, I can recommend you practicing details. Because now your art, I mean the chibi's?, they don't have much detail, they could use some more. C: Also, the colored one seems a little smudged. . x. |
Cute but nothing else... Don't smudge your work when it comes to creating shadows. Use the edge of your pencil and different pencil shades too.... Try looking for art pencils that say 2H or 3H etc.... That will help with creating good shadows. Also, cute chibi art is great when you have developed more of your own style or worked more on realistic imagery. Most good manga artist are also fantastic fine art artist... Best to develop from drawing from life... I see you started with animals, try people. This will also help with your chibi art.

my fave is the second one...so simple...and so cute! also, if u takes the pics in black and white next time they mite come out with a little bit more quality....and as was mentioned before the lighting could be fixed :) |
