And I've been trying to get out of drawing in my crappy anime style. So I've been working with some semi-realism. ^^

I really hope for a lot of improvement to come! Lol I feel like I'm going through "art puberty" or something.

Please Comment, critique, give me advice whatevr you can offer for me is really appreciated!

Edit:: And just so you all know, I don't own a tablet, some people seem to think that's relevant. Maybe I'll as for one for Christmas! : DD

This is a really nice piece you have here. I do like the sense of rain here (I hope that's what you were shooting for) as well as her expression. She's a little heavy in the eyebrow area, the one on our left should really curve around her brow more. What program are you using for your work, the brushes seem really coarse with a hard edge, which I would suggest against if you want to do a digital painting? The nose is nice but the lips seem too rushed and less detail was paid to that area. Otherwise, not a bad piece, keep up the good work. :)

Well you see, this picture was originally softer. /as in you couldnt see the brush strokes really. So I took in photoshop elements and sharpened the image until it was like this. (which is a HORRIBLE crutch to lean on for me artistically, it just looks a lot better this way Dx )

I painted this in SAI though. And thank you for your kind words and critique, I'll keep them in mind. ^^
