What should she be comanding?

I was thinking of you the entire time I drew this picture. Lol. I'm not really sure why, but I think it might be something you'd like. :3

ANYWAYS
When I started drawing this picture, I imagined the woman with a flock of crows flying at her will. But after I drew her attire, I wasn't really sure if crows would be best. I was just wondering what you all think I should do.

Excuse the poor quality. ^.^'

Mm, I see the makings of some nice line quality and anatomy. Very nice~.

Personally, my interest is still piqued by the idea of crows or ravens. I can easily see a whole flock flying out from behind her, making her hair and skirt whip about in their wake (which, as a small critique, if you do opt for something flying behind her the momentum SHOULD be moving more than just her hair. Her skirt is very lovely but a bit limp, you may want to pull at the corners. :3 <3)

I also like the idea of a phoenix or a large bird of prey. Conversely, she looks like quite the huntress/warrior. Maybe she could be sending out her pack of wolves or equally fleet footed and tough beasties? Though I can see you sticking to birds given the lovely feathers in her hair. Maybe winged wolves? Lmao.

Don't be afraid to add your lovely feather motif to other aspects of your piece! Earrings, necklace, off her bracers. Or leave them as is. The possibility is endless as this piece has a lot of potential. ^^

This is too cute! My favorite thing about it is how her hair blows in the breeze c: That's my absolute favorite hair to draw. Were you drawing anyone in particular, or is this a random character? Is there a story?

Critique-wise, you may want to look up foreshortening tutorials on dA - something every artist struggles with! It's only especially noticeable in her blade, which looks flat compared to the rest of the drawing, a rather dynamic piece. Thickening the top bit of the blade before it tapers might help to give you some depth.
