I've been a bit down on the arms for the past two drawings D:

Pfft, arms are overrated. I have a bad habit of not drawing them on my doodles, too, so I know how it is. XD They're just so annoying.
Have you tried using a fullbody/bathroom mirror and just making some super basic arm poses and studying the forms they make? Or having a friend/sibling do so for a few seconds and doing some blind contours (just drawing what you see, without looking at the canvas) may help you~. But overall, arms are evil. xP
That being said, love your style. I feel like must have subscribed to a thread of yours before because your name and art are familiar. >[email protected]
The second may be quite yellow, but personally, I totally dig it. Contrasting colours ftw when creating a more dramatic piece. It really brings out the forms in a lovely way. The hatching on the hair is a very nice touch, too.
I super dig the little self-portrait there. XD I would totally buy a hundred of those if you sold them. I see some cute shading techniques being employed~.
You seem to be getting a pretty decent grip of human anatomy and your style is looking pretty consistent, but I'd keep pushing every day to maintain it. Nothing frustrates me more than when I develop a style I'm finally starting to like, then leave it for a bit because when I go back to it I can never get it quite right any more. D:
Moar self portraits plz. You have nice structure but you're faces are a bit... What's the word I want? Young? Don't be afraid to study your face in the mirror or nab some free stock references of models on DA, that's what they're there for. Hell, even study the adds in a magazine. X3
Lovely work, keep it up, and lemme know if you open a shop up over here. XD <3

thank you XD I'm almost 24 and I look 15/16 so off to the fashion blogs for me.
lol when I look at avatars they always seem kind of young or baby-ish to me [especially gaian avatars, they're like overdressed slutty babies] It's probably the round head/large forehead and big eyes combo that makes them look like huge pouty babies XD I need to draw people that aren't avatars.
I do occasionally practice stick drawing of different poses and flesh out some of them I just haven't been motivated lately [rather read the fashion blogs than practice from them lol]
My shading generally comes out of the laziness of not wanting to change brushes while I'm sketching  the brush I use looks kind of like this: | so lots of hatching is had. Maybe once I get the house cleaned and go grocery shopping so I can get some good food in my system I'll be a little more energized to do more than just lazy sketching with the occasional colour job.
You wouldn't happen to know an awesome line artist that hates to colour and is looking for a colourist would you?
I'm on roliana/ernya/ruffles/gaia/crysandrea/lilfactory as ryalee/persephone/sunshine .. I post this mess everywhere XD
also have a blog that I'm trying to get in the habit of using.

Your headshots in particular are gorgeous, but all your line work is just amazing!
As a sidenote, I am one of said artists who love doing lineart but despise coloring with the white-hot passion of a thousand suns >.> I don't know if my lineart is up to your level of expectations, but I can definitely give you a few samples if that's still something you're looking for.

Your art is amazing, especially the coloring. I wish I could color like that. T-T But the no arms thing really creeped me out there for a moment.

Personally I love drawing arms. I think it's just the muscles that make it interesting, sometimes I'll just draw arms, so I guess I draw opposite of you XD
my biggest problem with arms if fore-shortening. But that just requires more practice and observation on my part.

You are really quite good.
Arms.....take practice. The complexity of movement in the arms and hands causes a lot of people the most grief. It just takes study though.

thank you, some times I'll be drawing and no matter how I draw them the arms just look like they're in the way so I leave them out XD

top of pants fail hard ... I kind of hate that her avatar was wearing pants I spent forever on them because they looked stupid every time.
