ITT: 'Stache Spams Art
Well thought I'd just... post some stuff randomly.
Syota - an OC of mine. Tremor (Request) - WARNING; there's blood. Done for a guy on a forum. Haven't heard back from him about it, so... can't even be sure he liked it, haha Gero - another OC. Practicing to draw some stubble, and older looking men Dragon (WIP) - random dragon. Trying to practice stuff. Done in Paint. Group shot of OCs (WIP) - another Paint drawing. It's a good stress reliever for me. This will most likely never be finished however. Now, the eye bleach is over to the right, so feel free to grab some; no charge. Yep. Not much else to say actually... I may post more at a later date. We'll see. |
ooh lookin nice!
I especially like the coloring on the last one~ |
Wow! I love what you do with Paint! > w< <3
|
Wow, these are really nice~ <3 I'd love some art from you. x'3 |
I like your art style a lot. I can't decide which of the first two is my favorite. I like the drawing of your OC because he appears so happy and cheerful, and it appears you've done a great job of capturing his personality in a drawing.
The second is so cool looking though XD Who doesn't like epic bloody guys with their faces hidden? Come on. |
@WinglessFairy: Thanks so much! I might not be working on it anymore, but maybe one day I'll remake it, haha.
@Kent: Thanks! @Hadsvich: Thanks, man. Haha, uhh, if you'd like a quick sketch then I can do something for you lol @MiyuMiyu: That means a lot to me, thanks a lot! Haha, yeah, thankfully I finally heard back from the guy I drew it for, and he liked it, so huzzah. Thanks for the kind words! |
Really? I'd love one~ > w< I'll even pay you~ Do you think you could pick one of my OCs from here to draw? o uo |
@Hadsvich: Sure, I'll pick someone from there. It might just be a quick sketch if that's fine with you? Something like this. Please excuse all my writing there, haha. And it'd be a bit more cleaned up, but that's the best example I have unfortunately.
|
Yeah, that's fine~ o wo <3 |
You're quite good! You pretty much have your fundamentals down =3 Great job!
If you want to try to expand your horizons, try a different way of coloring. Like maybe the "soft-cel" style? You're work has a charming grittiness to it now, but if you wanted to, you could try other styles to see how they work for you. You're definitely at the point where you can afford to experiment. Again, hats off to you! |
@Amaitae: Thanks a lot for the feedback! I know what you mean about the colouring thing; I actually prefer cell shading as it is, but I have done a few of the 'soft cell' shading, and it doesn't work as well with me, cuz I use a mouse rather than a tablet. It's a bit harder to get that effect down, imo. Usually I like to do the soft cell as you call it, when I colour traditionally, but not when I colour on the PC.
But again, I appreciate all that feedback, and I'm certainly trying to expand my horizons now as it is, but drawing more animals and backgrounds and whatnot. So thanks again! |
