heartages random art pieces ~*OPEN*~ :D

I finally worked up the courage to post some of my art :P

Feel free to tell me what you think. I'm not a great artist, but I have fun drawing nonetheless... It's a great form of expression for me! I haven't done any serious art in a while, I've been mainly working on Candybar Doll edits (you can see them on my website), dress up dolls (which you can also see on my site), and Tegaki E stuff (my username is the same on that site as it is on this one ([email protected]).

I'm not sure how the art forums run, so I'm going to reserve some posts if that's okay! Please let me know if it's not, I couldn't find any fault with it in the rules, but I could have misunderstood! I don't want to mess anything up or do anything wrong, so any help in this regard is most welcome!

Sooo, without further ado, I will begin posting some art!

Oh my gooood. They're so good. I love the second chibi one, it's so sad and cute. ;-; And the 4th one on the anime/manga post. That's really good!

Is your art all done digitally? Or do you sketch these first?

SexualPlacebo: (you're probably so tired of me talking about you in the forums :P) I'm soooo glad you like them! Technically I do sketch them first, but I do it on the computer with a graphic tablet. Otherwise, it is all done digitally. I feel like my line art is soo much better on paper, but I can't color my pen/pencil sketches worth a lick (even if I scan them into my computer! XP). So a lot of what I do is just practice or boredom. I really want to get much better!

Haha, putting all that aside ~('.'~) I really am so happy you like them! Most of the pictures have a story behind them, or at least the characters portrayed have stories behind them. The two Neko-children in that one picture you like are actually based off my kitties (haha, even though my kitties are black and white :P) and they are named after them, too. The boy is named Yami and the girl is Kuromi (or just Romi for short). Those two are fairly new characters of mine and really, I've only just begun thinking up scenarios for them and stuff, but I really adore the two.

Haha, it still confuses me when I get the "Psssst, someone's talking about you" mail. xD I love that they are all character based and have stories and stuff, I would love to draw my OCs but mainly refuse for fear of ruining them. Maybe, one day i'll get good enough to draw them without destroying them terribly. (:

Yami and Romi really are just too cute though. :3

Aww, thank you very much! And I'm sure you wouldn't ruin them if you tried to draw them!! It could just be practice anyway! Mainly everything I do is practice haha... which is why I have so much trouble finishing stuff :P
