I use various brushes! :D then I edit those! :)

the shading and everything is really good on that one, I like how she's colored and most of the background isn't. lets her stay the focus >.<

Gimp is free p,us it gives free and gorgeous brushes on a website :)

but it doesn't work with my tablet for some reason :(
and I can not draw with the mouse to save my life

Oh then if you have a tablet, you should try the program "sketch book express" it's free and I create wonderful drawing from it! :)
