New coloring technique
 

well, i'm trying out a new technique for coloring my pics.
(old tech: here and here)

BUT ANYWAY

i'm using my tablet's ability pressure-sensor brush (in PhotoShop) and lots of layers. i haven't done this before so i'd like to know what people think.

I'm liking the greater contrast between lights and shadows in your new stuff, my suggestion would be to not be afraid to take it even further. ^^ It always looks weird and may be a little scary (worried that you'll "screw up" in some way) but once you get the hang of it, it really helps add a certain something to your work. Fun colors for shadows (especially in skin tones) are purples and blues. ^^ Keep it up though, looks great!

I really like this picture. The coloring style is deffinantly working for you. The eyes look wonderful. Kind of musty. It's very well done. :D
