I have to say I LOVE your style! I first found your DA after seeing that cool watercolor piece you did for Chemie on Gaia (she used it as an example in her "art contest")... How much would you charge for a piece like that? |
o thank you Aurilia!!! i don't really take commissions anymore unless i'm in the mood to in which case the price would vary a lot depending on my mood i guess.
my rl commissions have been closed for months and gaia/menewsha wise i'm closed too - though i might have a small auction soon. the auction wouldn't be for watercolor, unfortunately. those are super extremely rare for me. ): |

Your style is impressive. *_* I really like your vector works...I'm really ignorant about all things vector...is it okay if I asked what's the difference between using Flash and say, Photoshop or something? Your coloring and lines are just so crisp. <3

photoshop in mainly used to create/edit raster objects (that just means the graphic is created using tiny pixels). with vector if you draw a line or a shape - it's really a line/shape - not pixels which FORM that line or shape. you really notice the difference when you try and enlarge or print a raster image vs a vector image. :arrow: i am babbling and this probably doesn't make any sense. anyway, it is possible to do vector work in photoshop using the pentool, but i am anti-pen tool and use a regular brush in flash. even though i can't add all the nifty effects and patterns i probably could in photoshop or illustrator, i still prefer flash over anything else. i feel it isn't as constricting. i think anyone who does computer graphic stuff should try drawing in flash. it's much much easier than it seems and there are a lot of neat-o tools you can use to cut your coloring time in half. |

i started a flash tutorial and never got around to part 2
yeah i should probably finish that soon :3 tori - flash costs around $700 but i didn't buy mine i borrowed the cd off a friend who works at a computer lab which is technically illegal, but who cares ... f tha police!!!!!!!!! comin' straight from the underground young nig got it bad cuz I'm brown & not the other color so police think they have the authority to kill a minority lolz :B nwa |
