  • ohmy. Your water colours are lovely - the texture and tones are just so much eye candy.

    and your character and costume design are so...creative and well put together.

    :luffles all over:

    I'm really very terrible at constructive crit., so. anything I say is probably wrong, or you already know.

    Buuut. Some of your figures proportions are off a tad - I think it's in the facial area, or the general head:body size ration. I'm not sure. There's just something that bothers me about the first two digital works.

    As for if you could sell your work here. I'm not sure - I haven't really been around Menewsha long enough to see what arts liked and what isn't.
    I know I'd be willing to commission you if I wasn't madly saving to become un-naked <3

  • that's ok. Tiny is fuun~

    I do the same thing. I'll be happily drawing/colouring. and then I zoom out and what ever I'm working is itty-bitty and unrecognizable D;

yepyep, i recognize it >w<
and on paper, you can't do that, because there isn't a zoom function... :o
imagine the possibilities if you COULD zoom on a pencildrawing/watercolor piece... :shock:

  • ohgooosh. Pencil&paper zoom tool.
    That would be awsome and handy~

    I still draw to small to paper sometimes. If I'm tired, or feeling lazy, I'll lean on the page and draw with my head on the desk.
    and things just come out all baby-sized and small.

if you do that, things get out distorted too, because you're too close and too sideways to the paper >w<
i only draw small if i have limited space [like the margins of my copies for my lessons and such ^^']

  • [list:ac5d43b1ef]
    xD not to mention how bad it is for my poor little eye balls @[email protected];

    I think I tend to draw the same size on all scales (unless I'm semi-sleeping on the page).
    Even when I've had like... a 40inch peice of paper to work on, I draw the same size as I would on a A4 bit of paper.

    I'm hopeless with enlarging/drawing bigger.

XD my teacher used to say that people that draw tiny are afraid to draw :o

plus: my teachers don't like 'stamp sized' sketches for our designs... HELLO A3sized paper *evil laughter*

  • heh. I'd probably agree with her.
    I'm terrified of drawing on larger scale. but have no idea why.
    All the blank space scares me I guess. Or I'm afraid I'll waste this huge-o bit of paper if I screw it up xD

    BYTHEWAY~

    i lovelovelove the 'draw the avatar above you' thing you did for mee~
    it's so pretty~ <3

Ah! I really like your watercolor coloring! *A* So pretty! I love that even though some of the colors seem dark, they don't look ugly dirty! XD They look really nice <3

And Glammy's piece is so nice, too! *3* Those lips = <333

about the 'dark' ness: yep, i'm not the average 'light' watercolorist ^^' i like to use pigments :D [and otherwise they wouldn't scan ... my scanner has the bad habbit of eating my colors ^^']

no, not really, just a bit more saturated...
the one with the 2 girls and the bunnies/ladybugs is actually modified with photoshop. the person who ordered it wanted it to be a bit more brighter ^^

[and the fact that my screen is a laptop-thing, must have something to do with it too... faded colors etc]
