First off, don't expect replies right away. xD It's tempting to post to keep the thread up, but I don't think you're allowed to. Anyways.

I'd try and use a bit of shading. I know it's difficult, since this is your first try.

And for future reference, if you save a file as a .jpg, save it in the highest quality. If you can't, save it as a .png so that there isn't any file distortion.
