meet nyx. she's a character i came up with last summer. I drew her in traditional chinese ink and pen, it was actually more fun than i thought it would be, eventhough it was harder than those inkpens i usually use!
i need to think out a colorscheme for her skin and outfits i was thinking of a pale skintone with hues of blue, to contrast the black hair she's got... but i have no idea for the clothes ^^' Suggestions are welcome!


edit, i do know that her hair resembles the logn hairstyle here on menewsha, i might make her one day [when more clothes arrive here on mene ^^']

She looks like an exotic sort of chica, so exotic colors it is.

I think a highly saturated purple-red, almost a plum color would make excellent cloth, perhaps with golden accents. Her skin...
well, that's a matter of taste entirely.
With dark clothing, hair, and eyes, I would give her pale skin for a sharper contrast. Pale skin and dark lips. Indeed. If you do, make the gems the same color as her lips, that would tie that lonesome color all throughout the drawing.

I'd say white or creamy colour for the main outfit with red or what dark colour you like for the jewels and and gold or silver for the strings/chains, and sandles.

I think she would be lovely in anything. I must say I afore her hair to death, it's so pretty. >w< I think she'd look pretty with a pale peachy (peachy isn't a good word .__. But I can't thik of any other words that describe the color) skin tone that fades into a purple. And maybe a red/orange out fite (like a sunset :]) Or a green with silver details or maybe gold and red details. But then again her skin and the outfits I've suggested don't really match. >___>;; So I don't know, good luck. :3 All I can say is I love your art. >.< It's amazing!
