I get far too excited about little things, especially when it involves my characters. In our living room, we have a bunch of movie posters up, and some old game posters. Today my husband said, "Ugh, I'm so sick of these Grand Theft Auto posters... don't you have anything to put in these frames?" And as a matter of fact, I did. I have 16 x 20 poster size images of "When it Rains" and "Jump" and I put them in there so now they're in our living room. That made me want to make more (and larger) posters to hang in our house... thus I came up with the idea of doing a simple character study of all my characters thus far and putting them each on a poster... I'm so excited. This is Jude's very raw work in progress. This is at 10% actual size. XD

Detail work in progress shot of the poster - this is at 50% actual size.

Woohoo, I totally forgot about this thread. /revives.

More work in progress. I'm even further now. I just have to finish his lower left leg, his feet and the sword.

wow. awesome. XD
I was totally trying to figure out what was holding the sword before it was done. >> I was confused. ^^;; |
Ahahaha, yeah. He grabs it with his foot in the game. It's awesome

>.> I don't play video games. So I guess the confusion was natural. XD <3
tassels!! |
XD Yeah, I should have put more embellishments on it so it didn't look so much like tassels. XD
|
|
but tassels are so much fun!
You've been doing a lot of art lately. XD I thought they took forever to do! |
Sometimes they do. ;] Other times it just flows.

A long long time ago I recall you gave me excellent advice. I don't remember exactly what it was, except that it was awesome and it was on a silly little picture that looked much better then to me than, than it does now.
Anywho, I thought I'd drop by and thank you again, because shortly thereafter my sketchbook shows a major step forward, and your beautiful color choices continue to inspire me. |
Awesome! Thank you Penny, and I'm glad I could help! <3
|
awww I love the couple one. >.> It could be because I am in love with the chicky puff balls...lol. but it's cute. <3 Actually they're both really good. :P <3
