hah that awesome! hes even stomping on a scorpion O.o lol so hes your baddy huh? *curious* i LOVE his boots, is their a purpose for the cloth bits attached to rings *curious* ? is he from a tribe sort of thing kinda like Iris?

He's...complicated. X3 But initially yes he's my baddy.

As for his boots - at one time i had a purpose for the rings and cloth - to hold the pieces of leather together I think. But then I put stitches in. *shrugs* ^^

And..he's...tribe-ish...*can't say more* XD

ooo so many new artses *will comment on ALL* okay starting from the top and going down . . . lol cause dammit so many neat things to comment on!

- love LOVE the poses.. so neat and dynamic and interactive between characters <3 looks great! are those markers? are they chars of your or a commission?

- ooo i adore the smoke?heat? coming out of the cup.. looks like shes taking a nice soothing wiff of the lovely warm thing in the cup as well ^^ is that a self portrait? you did say you were making all your own christmas cards, that pretty darn nifty! im going to try and do that myself next year as... well as im a lazy cow last year and didnt send any cards at all out >.<

- ah this one i KNOW is one of your OC's, emerald isnt it? i LOVE her hand, her hand just its perfect, i love it the shading is wonderful looks like a real hand *so excited about the hand* i really think your painting on the computer is improving, every single picture and it looks more and more refined? maybe thats not the right word? hurrmmm im not sure the right word, but it looks i dunno, more and more and more like what you would see painted in a gallery up on a wall?

- details on the trees / scarf / neck frillies = INSTA win.

- shes one of your new goddesses yes? *admires* i love her hip thingger... its just so neat, does it float on its own or is that because shes flying/floating. is she in your story? the feathers on her neck thing are lovely.

- this one is my fave out of the bunch! so dramatic! simple but very elegant with awesome variation in the weight of the lines, VERY insanely awesome. i love how its solid red at top and below the woman its painted in dots, SO neat to look at. do you do this style much? does this kinda style have a name? reminds me vaguely of japanese/chinese brush paintings.. but with maybe a mucha push too it.. watercolour yes?

- all the sketches are lovely, i especially liek the one with the girl wielding fire (fire yes?) shes lovely... though i wonder with all of us peoples with OCs that have fir attributes.. how is it we ALWAYS make them wear flowy cloths? *cackles*

- the spark is COOL! lol and the pose is pretty darn awesome as well, and i like the details on his vest ^^

+ Thanks and yes it's marker and colored pencil. They are not my characters - but rather it's something I did for the Private Exchange that I'm part of. :]

+ It was my Christmas card, but I only managed to send it out to three people because the rest fell behind a bookcase and then I just got lazy and didn't get them/make any more. + Yes indeedy, that is Emerald! Thank you, I'm rather fond of the hand as well. :] I was pretty happy with this, but I didn't get it as finished as I wanted it to be.

+ Neck frills! This is another Private Exchange piece. :]

+ Yep, it's Thera - the same as the pixel doll I did. It does indeed float on it's own, because she's a goddess aye? XD She is from my story.

+ This is actually a new experiment I've been doing! I'm working on rice paper so the first one I wanted to do was to try to make it "scroll-like." I've got another one in the works - Aluriel as a koi-fish mermaid but it's looking more like a watercolor painting rather than an Asian scroll. But I'm still happy with it so far.

+ Haha yeah. I think it's because fire can flow when you make it magic so flowy clothes just compliment that!

+ So far from done. This is due on the 24th (another Private Exchange picture) so I think I may have to cut down the background and make the picture smaller - but i'm going to try to get it done in its entirety in time. Having fun playing with/experimenting with shadows in this one - even if it is frustrating. X3

ahhh i keep forgetting your in one of those exchange thinggers, completely slips my mind, while it really shouldnt, so many of my artsy friends are in them so yeah ._.;; lol its one thing a month isnt it?

*feels dumb* whats a persona exactly? like a character that signifies you or something? hah and so many with Jude. . . lol do you personally love him and wanna kick his ass or something? lol and thats awesome how you dropped some and were all like "myeh cant be bothered to dig em back out" lol omgosh i do that so much... only i loose my sketchbooks >.<;; ALL the freakin time.

oh O.O on rice paper? that doesnt bleed or melt apart when you put the watercolour on it? or maybe im thinking of the wrong thing... is the paper still insanely thin? or do they make i a tiny bit thicker so that you can paint oin it? it looks awesome and i cant wait to see this other one you mentioned working on. looks great.

The exchange is a once a month thing yeah - and you can choose to sign up or not and it's kind of like a secret santa thing - you don't know who is going to be drawing for you. It's pretty fun. :] I try to do it as much as I can if I have the time.

And yep, a persona is kind of like me...but not me. Aluriel is me in that she has curly hair - but mine isn't that long and I'm not that thin. ;p

Rice paper is interesting - it bleeds if you have a lot of liquid on your brush, but if not then it's pretty good. It is very very thin.

Do you scan in stuff you do with rl media?
All of the images are so clean. @[email protected] My scans never look that pretty. xD

Yeah, I scan them and then work with the levels in Photoshop. ^-^

I need me some photoshop. xD

Yep, it's Nightcrawler with someone's OC that they've made with a story around him (I guess they call that a canon character? I don't know these things). This is for the Private Exchange valentine's day trade. I'm so excited to see mine, I wanted Emerald and Malachai drawn. <33 This will be my first Malachai art. :]

Mmmm, my project's keeping me busy (and I like it that way) here are the only 3 pages that will be seen outside of the hard copy of the book. Shooting for a summer release. :]
