I'm currently writing a story, and I was planning to make this a cover design, and I want to know what people think of it :3

Wow I realy like this!! It uses color and shading perdectly. nw the only thing I am not too fond of is the hugeness of the eye...

Personally, I'm thrown off by the large boobs(large in my opinion anyways), but it's really cute.

the only problem with this "painted" and line free style is that you need to put A LOT of detail into them to pull it off. I can't do line-free for that reason. It looks really good ;D keep up the work and try to do more shading/details. Nice BG thou-I can never put a background in my pics no matter what lol. c:

Anyways, now I'm going to comment and critique your picture.

This picture is like I said earlier, very pretty. I love the color scheme and the softness of it. I like how you varied the snow, so that the picture wouldn't look monotonous. I also love her hair, it's so shiny and pretty. Her wings look really soft and her clothes design was really pretty.

The only critique I have is that the head looks a bit big and the breasts are a bit big too in relation to the body...but I'm not really good at anatomy, so I cannot be sure. Also, I dislike h ow the ears look so much like the hair. At first, I was like, 'Why are there rings in the buns of the hair?' and then I realize that she had a tail so I figured those rings were earrings.

It's very cute! My only issues:

1.) The ears are too hard to differentiate from the hair.
2.) Her pose makes it look a bit... erotic? If that's what you were going for then that's great, but I just thought I'd point that out in case it was unintentional.

Overall, great work! ^^

Wow... this looks so lovely. i really like the picture and coloring. Very sweet and even some kind of romantic, you know. Anyway, the only thing that is not that great, I guess, are wings, but I know, how hard it's to draw them.

Looks lovely! I'm just wondering though, how are you planning to publish the story? If it's on your own that works out perfectly, but if you're sending it off to publishers, they usually want to handle the cover themselves.

It's really nice, but as a cover design there are some problems!
The character you created is gorgeous, sadly she is blended in with the background. The background and snow is taking most of the attention when the girl should! (nice pose too! I love the picture!)

It's pretty fabulous, only a bit difficult to tell ear from hair.

It looks great! You should use it on a darker background like in the first image so that is shows off the soft colors as well. Impressive work.

Thanks for the comments everyone. As for publishing, It wont be published. It's just something i'm doing in my spare time.

About the ears / hair, The ears are actually a lighter color then the hair itself, Just the way the shading and mood of the picture is, they blend in to much.

The background, The snow was needed because it plays an important role @[email protected] It was my first actual attempt at snow though x3

I cant really explain her pose o.O It started out as a basic sketch, and wasn't going to amount to anything untill I thought of ideas on what to do with it. The wings were a pain o.- I either kept making them to big, or too small, Or one was bigger then the other and it was a complete mess. So I settled on these.

The lineart itself, I always want to add lines to hair or clothing of things like that, but I'm never sure on where to put them x.x and then it all seems to look messy to me. I'm still learning on how to CG with anime instead of my usual style.

Boobs.. 0.0 Are they really that large..? *Head tilted to the side* Maybe they are a tad big here ..
