Mr Meanies arm needs improving, it's very skinny and misproportionate towards the hand. But I like how you seem to have their personalities down in their faces.

Good job <3 keep up the good work dude.

cool good job!

Amazing i think its really good
you definately know how to show personality and meaning in the facial expression
things i think u need to work on are the arms and hands as these are miss proportionate to the rest of the body.
I think the chins need to be a little bit more profound and the eyes could be made a little bigger
other than that its a very good drawing well done

yeah like they said its got really good persinality but i think the sword needs i little more detail

disturbed66 11-24-2007 08:39 AM

Yea hands and forearms are somthing i need a bit more work on.. First try at drawing a muscler guy! lols
(always had drawn females)
and eyes.. *sighs* i always draw them to small for anime...ow wells!
Thanks for the comments as soon as i can i'll fix it up some and repost for some more help!
Thankies!

Pfft. I like your small anime eyes better.
Nice muscle structure.
The guy on our left. There's a shadow above his nose that suggests sneering. Is he?

disturbed66 11-25-2007 06:37 AM

.. I dont know.. hmmss. i think i was trying to give.. you know that area straight under your noise thats kinda lower.. yea i think i was trying to do that.. but it does work with the face his making huh... woops!

Penny 11-25-2007 10:20 AM

Huzzah for unintentional expression. :]

And one more thing, because I think you can handle it with your newly found muscle drawing skills. If you move the lefthand guy's shoulder (that is, the round muscular end of the shoulder, the deltoid) up and a smidgen closer to his neck it'll give more sense of strength and tension in his hold on that sword.

Here's a tip for you with arms... draw like a line, circle for the elbow and a second line, then make a cylinder over the line, then add muscle. Takes longer but that way you won't have odd curves and a large shoulder and tiny wrist...

Penny 11-25-2007 09:57 PM

Indeed. Building up from a skeleton of that kind really helps.

disturbed66 11-26-2007 04:44 AM

thanks!
I did build a half butt skeloten. But dident use a cylinder.. more of a rectangle.
Thanks you guys i've never had sombody take time and explain what needs to be done. Its always a flat out.
"u suck, give up in art!'
(no joke had a few people tell me that T T)

But thanks! And you keep comin back.. man i wish i was back at my dads with my light table.. but thats not tell wed....*sigh*

Penny 11-26-2007 09:02 AM

Yep. Cylinders really help figure out shading too. I was bouncy for days when someone finally introduced me to that technique. ^^

Aw... that's sad. And silly. Rest assured, you definitely don't suck.

No problem. I know I'd want people to do the same for me. :3

I find taping the paper to the window when it's light out works pretty well... if you don't mind drawing vertically. ^^

disturbed66 11-27-2007 04:21 AM

Lols ^ ^ Thanks.
That be kinda funny.
mom walk in... " ummm.."
me: " ITS EXACTLY WHAT IT LOKS LIKE!"
