It doesnt really look all that sketchy to me, just more lines in the hair and such, more detailed, you could say :3

Well it is sketching, 'cause I don't erase, just draw until I find the right lines, type thing. xD Instead of drawing solid lines and UNDO-ing constantly. |
The style looks super similar to me. You're just using a slightly darker line. It's not really so much an overall stylistic choice, as it is a picture by picture preference.
I'm being nit-picky in word choice though. I say, it depends on what your drawing. Keep the options open and all that. |
I say that both ways look great to me, but I lean about a cell's width toward the sketchy. <3
