For lineart, I zoom in very close (600%) and use the brushes. When I shrink it, the lineart looks very smooth! ^-^

Ugh, I hate doing line art. >.< Hate it, hate it, hate it! Well, what I do, for line art, I zoom in, and then gently make small lines, one on top of each other, with the brush tool in the color that I want (like black or brown). It takes a long time, though... And I somtimes get impatient with it. XD

But right off the bat, that jaw on the upper picture. The apex of the chin whould be directly under the point of the nose, and the middle of the mouth. |
