This is my first EVER attempt at a GIF. I had no idea how to use the program, I just pressed random stuff to make a greeting for my Christmas hangout thread that I'm going to update tomorrow.
Man it was fun ;D

But I wasn't sure how to make each frame move slower... Or get rid of the thing on top.

Lol that's pretty good! What program did you use? I always thought you had to make gif's by yourrself using long confusing codes o.o
Edit: Shouldn't it be X-mas not C-mas? lol ^.^

I always say "C-mas", becuase I didn't like the X in front. It still doesn't feel right to put an X there, so I stick with C.

Basically on wikipedia you can look up christmas.
And it says
The Roman letter for 'Chi' was represented with a X so It was spelled like Xstmas
And then it got cut down to X-mas for short. But what ever floats your boat! :3

It's cute, except it's kind of strange how a fold a shadow all of a sudden appears on the hat.

I know, some strange thing happened while I was painting..
I didn't notice until it was done.

Unless you're doing a short quick temporary animated gif, don't use that site. It gives the picture those weird words as well as no adjustments in time frames, as you said. I use a program called UnFreez and it's soooo simple! And when I downloaded it, it took less then a second, like downloading a picture to view it. But if you want frames to move slower, add more equal amounts to it. Such as if you have 10 frames/pictures, labeled A,B,C,D, and so on. Put 2 of each. AABBCCDDEE and so on. If you want it to go even slower, increase the number multiplied. Remember to keep it even. If you only want a few frames to go slower, then put multiples of them together.
