maybe i'll make an art shop... but right now i'm too annoyed with this site because it's so slow to get gold!!!

well, doing commissions is difficult, because most people on these types of sites want very clean-anime looking art and that's not...exactly what i do :/!!!

Gold might be a pain to get. But you get to meet some awesome people because of it ^^ Everyone here is pretty friendly and welcoming when it comes to jumping into a thread for chatting

I love your art style, and once my avi's closer to complete, I'll be sure to commission you if you're running a shop.

Besides, though my art's anime style, it's not tidy. I wouldn't say unclean, of course, for fear of mods.

As everyone above has said - don't make judgments on what sort of art people want on here - you'd be surprised. Our art whores a flexible.


But anyway, I adore your style for it's rough edges, charm and not-anime...ness.
Your colours and shapes (or would lines be more appropriate?) carry far more character then polished and shiny anime crap.

veryvery, I'll have you know that although I draw mainly anime-styled art, I would LOVE to get some art from you.
All the artworks you have there look really awesome!

I like various styles of art and mediums, like many others that commented. I particularly adore sketchy art. *hinthint* XD

Mine's glitched. I think it's the glitch that happens when you have something on all the clothing layers....I think :/
Or it might be the Ayumui's clothing. That glitches a lot of things.

thanks for the encouragement everyone! we'll see how i feel about it after i finish up all my gaia commissions! i have a job so i have to be considerate of my freetime @ @! and i have to figure out if i want to disperse my abilities across TWO sites. well, if you guys are on gaia and want a menewsha avatar, i have no problem with that either! on gaia i draw OC's too so it really doesn't matter, the only difference is "what currency do i want to be paid in" i guess @ @!

once again, thanks for all the feedback. like i said, i've had problems with people not understanding that what i draw won't look like an anime ; ;, i think they just sort of see my art and DA pageviews and go "oh i should get a commission" but they don't actually ask themselves "is this something i really want?". i think another problem is because they picture their characters as having an anime-ish face in their head? like when they think of their character, they picture a very simplified face and not the particular style that i use and that makes people cry. another problem is that people don't understand how i use color, I think. they say "my character has black hair" and when i go to draw it i make that character have a dark blue or something to represent black hair, but to them i gave them the wrong hair color @ @!!

so that's why i have disclaimers and things whenever i do commissions so don't think i'm just paranoid for no reason! this happens a lot to me ; ;

As for me I think your artwork is awesome. I mean this is your own style that is very special. And I think that everywhere you can find people, who adore your art, so don't be disturbed by that fact. Plus I also don't like finishing my art, and that is the reason why I don't update my art at DA.

make you wonder why commission you in the first place.. if I was to commission someone, it'd be because of his/her OWN personal style/take on the particular character. that's really the whole point of commission 'other' people to draw your character (for me at least). o_o

Wow that's awesome! I'm usually more for anime art but your style is just as awesome lol. I'm not usually much of an avatar art person, but if you're willing to draw that well for an avatar, I may be willing to fork over some cash when I'm finished questing. ;3

mai: yes, that's what i wonder too but...i don't know! All i know is that it happens a lot! you'd think they'd... LOOK WITH THEIR EYES but they don't! ; ;

blue wolf sushi: ahh yeah i try pretty hard for commissions! i just hate thinking that people have to give up their hard earned whatever and then they're not happy. that's why i give people preview images @ @! but even then... sometimes they're not happy @ @!?

so yeah, commissions = stress a lot, but they're also fun because it encourages me to draw things i wouldn't normally draw and to produce a lot of pictures in a short amount of time!

oh, I would love that if you could pm me whenever you are open for commission again (gaia and mene) :3 don't want to miss out!

I have about three art shops on separate sites, so it's a little difficult for me, sometimes. Though, I have currently closed two of them and is concentrating on this one first.
And yes, drawing new things are always fun. ^___^
