Something completely different! (new art!)
Yep. I painted something that wasn't Tom Smith. C+C welcome.
New piece! http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c1...opica/fish.jpg http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c1...ca/scan011.jpg |
I really like it. It relaxes me somehow. I can see people, to forks, and books and so many stuff. I love the collage of stuff and the color is magnificent. Let me eat it!
|
Thanks! Yay. I'm glad you see the fork. :D
I'm glad my art is worth chewing over. xD |
Looks odd.
|
I really like it! ^-^
Lol, worth chewing over. XD I wish my abstract art would come like this, I always end up with brown smudge. >.<; |
I love this kind of stuff. It is so good. Good job!
|
Bloody: I guess that was intended... :? How do you mean?
Midnight: Thanks! Brown smudges happen. I've got a few of them in there myself. ^^ Wynna: Thanks much. |
it's very.. fascinating :3 not bad at all!
|
I love it. o: Very pretty colors.. just wonderful. <333
Good job! :]] |

Well, this is smoething really different!
Finally I can see here something ele than anime art and doll ( Well, I like thse, but still...) This abstract stuff is really awesome! |
Oh that's very nice and definately different than most styles of art I've seen on Menewsha so far. I love pictures with a collage in them, it's fun trying to make out what it is lol. Still trying to find the fork though. ;o

Very nice, i love all the colour and objects pulled together in the collage.
I was just wondering how you did it, since you said you painted it, i'm thinking that you painted a layer of things and then waited for it dry and then painted over? Or was it all already planned out? |
Oh wow it's amazing
|
Thanks all!
tentenpuff: It took me three hours or so. I'm not entirely sure that's right. It was late. I worked in water color. Pretty much I just sat down and started painting. I started with a sort of art deco building that has since vanished (it's at the top of the page dead center, I painted it with the right side of the page at the bottom, it any one cares to look for it.) Then I had a few clouds, then I think the lamp posts came to me. I definitely didn't plan it out. I had a lot going through my head and I just let it all out in whatever color felt right. I suppose one could do it that way... letting it dry in between. I didn't though. The paper was nice enough to soak up a lot of the water pretty quick, so I was able to paint over stuff without necessarily waiting for it, and still get reasonably crisp lines. Does that answer your question at all, Amurita? |
I wasn't sure if I trusted the title of this post. 'Something different' usually means 'the same old thing' (not that there is anything wrong with the same old thing), but this is actually different! I'm very impressed and a little envious, you obviously have great skill. I hope you post something else like this soon. :D
|
Good! Thank you very much.
I'll be sure to post when I have something. <3 |
I really like it! It's so cool how you combined all these different things into one picture!
is it water color?( just out of curiosity) |
Indeed, that is what I said. Cheep watercolors, but watercolors nonetheless. ^^
|
Oh wow, i'm really impressed :O
I know i could never just start painting and come up with that. I didn't know that you could use watercolours like that, i assumed you let the paint dry first because i thought that the colour would bleed into each other. |
It does. But one learns to use it. Especially in a piece like this. This paper wasn't as prone to bleeding as other, less absorbent kinds.
|
I love it. It's detailed but not chaotic, and I feel like I could stare at it for an hour and not see everything hidden in there.
