Kitsune has art~
I know it's all anime-styled and I'm not the best ever, but I do hope you like it~
I prefer not to have criticism (a little is okay if it's just a tip to help me out, like for example, pointing out if the arms are too short/too long or the head is too big/small, anatomy in general, etc), because I'm very sensitive and usually take things personally. u.u;; Here's some of my recent computer art~ http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g1...___by_x_ba.png ^that's supposed to be a chibi. I can draw alright but not on the computer. Whenever I try drawing on the computer, it always ends up as squiggles and lines. Its quite unnerving actually... =[ EDIT: Where do you get your backgrounds from? They're awesome! |
The backgrounds look very nice and I like how you colored the pink part of the hair. Also the eyes on the first chibi looks cute.
As for critique... In the third picture, the head seems too big, as does the hair. The hair on the head seems like a pile of, well, hair, but it's a bit over exaggerated. And for the feet, they're too small, your feet are roughly the length of your forearm which is not the case in this picture. And the lower half of the body is too small overall. Practice, and your drawing will improve! :] |
On the first one, try to make the shading on the hair a little more obvious. It annoys the heck out of me when anime characters with black hair have like... Black blocks for hair. xD
For the second one, the face of the one with red hair seems a little crushed. In the third one, her head is too big. The limbs look too skinny as well, but I dunno if that's just your style of art or not. |

On the third one, yes the anatomy looks.. weird.. The head is too big and the legs too short/small. the legs and upper body look fine. Even if the person is supposed to be skinny, legs should be thicker than the arms and longer, too. if you try to draw the legs slightly thicker at the top, then the bottom will get longer eventually. Try drawing lines for where your legs start, for the size of the head. An anime drawing book could help a lot, too. Usually the body of an anime character is divided into pieces, and it'll make it easier to get the body right. |
