I like it. I'm curious... does the crucifix necklace carry a symbolic meaning as relates to this pic, or did you just like the effect of it wrapping around the rose?
And just because lots of people can draw roses doesn't mean they all draw them well :P |

Your art needs ore expression. You've got your basic style down, the coloring is nice, and overall it's pleasant to the eye, but her expression is blank. The piece has not emotion to it because of this. Try having her look stern or smile, it'll set the mood for the entire image. |

Both of those are very beautiful. I really like your style. And what that other person said about a lot of people being able to draw roses, thats bull! I'm awful at drawing roses xD~ But you did a lovely job! You should really color the rose/cross one, it would look magnificent! Do you do your art completely on the computer? {With a tablet?} Or do you draw, scan, and outline on the computer? |
I like them both. The rose though has to be my favourite. I don't know what the cross is doing in the picture though. I just like the way how it adds to the flower. Good job.

For the first picture of the rose and all, I like it very much. The cleanness and how the necklace wraps around the stem of the rose.
For the second picture though, like someone else has said, it lacks emotion in the face. Also, the headband on her hair, seems to flat and awkward, and her forearm for her right arm [our left] seems to be too short. And the wings also look awkward. |
You did very well on the rose. The lines are clean and you paid attention to detail.
On the avatar art, though, the wings look a bit odd. Try to make the feathers a little larger. And yeah, work on facial expression. I'm not that good with that either, so dont' worry. xD |
