Batsy's art thread - Lineless marker image
 

Hi everybody! :D This'll be my art thread on Mene. ^^ I'll probably just edit this first post when I want to ask everyone's opinion on a different piece.

Today I have this:

It's a second attempt at a lineless picture with my markers (they're prismacolors) and lightbox. I did a sketch, then colored right over it on the lightbox with the markers. It's really weird, because the markers look completely different backlit. The first attempt was awful, but I think this one came out a little better. I wanted to draw a summery pic... her outfit's sort of supposed to be a cross between a Japanese yukata and a Korean hanbok.

Comments and (gentle!) critique welcome! For reference, here is a picture I recently did for an art exchange, it's basically what my normal stuff looks like.

I like it...though those eyes are giving me the creeps. :shock:

Wow! Awesome! I love the shading and the end of her yukata/hanbok xDD <33 The eyes are slighty unnerving (unnerving= GOOD! xD) :3 <33 I look forward to seeing your future creations!

It's very good. maybe define some of the lines on head a bit more though.. and add eye brows..unless.. that character isn't suppose to have them.

aww how cute! I love the little fishies on her kimono ^^ and his expression's adorable

I really like it, though it's been said before the eyes are a bit creepy. But overall it's nice. :)
