I would really appreciate any critique and suggestions on the following (perhaps I'll add more, later):



The first is a random face for a drawing that I started, and the second is one that I plan on calling: "Apple of My World." I started out with just a person, the sea, and a tree behind that person, but the curve of the tree later formed the side of the apple that acts as a border.

All of my pixel work starts out like this, and as I mentioned before, any critique and suggestions are highly appreciated. Please and thank you!

This is what I've done so far with the apple. I'm finished with the border, but I'm still coloring the sea. More to come, soo! O:

i think they're wonderful. the face is very cute and i love the concept of the apple. ^-^ can you tell me how to do pixel art? people keep talking about it and i'd love to give it a try.

Well, there are plenty of tutorials that are available. I think they have a list of them as stickies somewhere on Menewsha, too. And thanks for the comment!

I'll be posting up my progress on the apple occasionally on this thread, so you can all see how I usual pixel. :3
