you defiantly have an elongated style.
like their body's are drawn long [kinda like ummm one piece that kinda style in body shapes.]
and if pulled off right its amazing.and you have done a good job with pulling it off.
Their head shapes are a bit wonky but that could just be me who feels that way. [and its only in the thumbnail pictures.]
the one with the girl laying down is good she looks amazing.
your line art is amazing, its really clean and that's hard to find sometimes.
you got talent keep it up.

Oh wow..so pretty!!
I think you should work on faces a bit more, but everything else is very beautiful, so I don't think you have much to worry about.

I like it.
Next time someone tells off your art, tell 'em off right back. 8D
On the one with the fox girl, the place where her boob meets her neck or something looks kind of awkward.

Nemui: Ooo! I've never really thought of them as elongated, but now that you mention it they are kind of. XD I draw lanky people. I do tend to elongate people's arms too much though. XD Thats a problem. I can see what you mean about their heads too. I'm still getting used to drawing on the computer and all of these just happened to be drawn out there instead of traditionally like I usually do. ^^; I still have a lot of work to do.
fuyumi_saito: Faces? Like how so? Are they weird looking, odd shaped, or just generally unappealing?
Dystopia: Thank you. I wish I was better at telling people off though. Even if I think they are wrong I still feel that in some way they are right. But still, if it isn't constructive critisism then I should just brush it off. I see what you mean on the fox girl. It is actually her collar bone, but I made it too low and to angular. XD Thank you for pointing it out.

oh wow really you drew those straight on the computer, i honestly thought
you did it the traditional way and then scanned it and fixed it up.
But i really like the elongated arms and legs you pull it off really well, and
not many can [so don't lose that XD]

Nemui said the heads are wonky but i think if you tried the heads differently it would works since the bodies are long. So all in all you drew the bodies really well considering the wonkiness. I seriously like it and some people on gaia are retarded (believe me i'm on gaia too). Most people on there like the art that makes your mouth drop to the ground not the type that makes your head tilt and go "now that is interesting, creative and really well put together"... which is how i describe your drawings :D

Nemui: Nope those were fully digital. I usually do pencil sketches that I scan and ink digitally and color, but I decided I needed to practice drawing with just my tablet too. My sketches can get really messy sometimes. XD Lemme dig up a few.

This one I actually colored the rough sketch. I'm kind of fond of it for some reason.
Sihu: I will have to try to approach them differently. I'll make my roommate look over them to make sure they aren't wonky. I've noticed that on gaia unless your ultra awesome or horrifically bad, then people tear into you. Mediocre artists like myself get flamed to hell for some reason.

Wow, you got flamed at Gaia? You must have posted at unlucky times, since I often see people there praising art that is literally the lowest common denominator.
I think like most artists, your anatomy in general could use some work. I wouldn't worry terribly about the elongated nature of your figures, though, since that's more of a stylistic thing.
Your lines and coloring are beautiful. Especially your coloring. Do you mind if I ask what technique you use to color such delicate line work? I find that, when I draw things in the anime style, I have to use thick lines because I don't have an efficient method of coloring worked out. Do you use the magic wand tool or something like that, or just color on another layer?
Your sketches are actually pretty clean, you know. I love the Disgaea doodles in your sketch dump at dA. X3

I often see that too, and I never really thought my art was that terrible. ^^; But it always makes me feel all down on myself when they do it.
I think I've come a long way since I first started drawing. XD My anatomy was all kinds of messed up. Someday I might get it down. Till then *flame eyeballs* PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT!!!
The magic wand tool never worked well for me since I tend to not completely close my linework. Actually I use a separate layer below the linework and use a really REALLY annoyingly bright color to lay down the flats, so I can see better when I'm going out of the lines. I just fill it in with the rightful color when I'm going to shade it. XD
lol Thanks! ^^o I'm a HUGE Disgaea fangirl. My sketchbook is littered with them. <3 I'm a total Laharl+Flonne fan.

I know. :( Unconstructive crit is pretty crushing, even when it's irrelevant. Just the idea that someone took the time out of their day to bash your art... for what? I've stopped posting in a few places because of it.
You have the right idea about practicing. Anatomy is the White Whale of every artist. There's a quote I like by a guy on dA who says something to the effect of, "If you move a tree fifty feet to the left, nobody is gonna care. But move a nose one quarter of an inch, and you have a freak on your hands."
Huh, I'll keep that in mind. Thanks!
How could you like Disgaea and NOT be a Laharl+Flonne fan? XDD Man, I must have spent something like 500 hours combined playing the first two. I don't even want to think about what's going to happen when number three comes out.
Oh, and speaking of, may I direct you to this awesome Nippon Ichi oekaki board, filled with awesome people and silly crossovers? I can't post anymore because my Java is messed up, but looking is still fun.

I've stopped on Gaia because of it. Sometimes I post in the line art thread, but that's about it.
That quote is seriously awesome, and true. lol I'm terrible with noses too. XD All Mine are prolly freaks.
I don't know why you wouldn't like Flonne and Laharl, but for some reason people hate the coupling. Zombie Jamboree is seriously awesome! ^^o I'm actually Shironotenshi on there. I haven't posted for quite a bit though. ^^;

Well, there's a little more leeway with the anime style since it's so exaggerated. I don't think your noses are terrible at all. D:
I guess some people are bitter like Laharl, so they resent the happy ending he gets. Or maybe they're yaoi/yuri devotees? XD Who knows? But Disgaea's love story is so unforgettable to me, even though I'm actually a hopeless Etna fan. And I remember your stuff now! Duh. I saw the one of Laharl and Flonne at your dA but it didn't register from the thumbnail that it was oekaki.
...Um. Can I just go ahead and add you now? lol

lol when I actually draw noses you mean. XD
*shudder* Yaoi/Yuri Disgaea anything frightens me. Who in the world would you pair them with? Wrap your brain around Laharl x Captain Gordan. XP Etna x Flonne isn't so bad. Ooooh! How about MidBoss x Axel!! Lets just face it, thats terrible. XD
lol Sure thing! <3

But anime's about extremes in that way. Sometimes there are no noses. And then... there's Escaflowne and Kaiji. XDD Worry about anatomy, not nose placement.
Haha, Axel/Midboss. How about Axel/his director? Midboss/Lamington used to amuse me, but nobody likes that pairing, it seems, even though according to the novels Midboss becomes an angel post-Disgaea. I can't see Laharl paired with anyone other than Flonne, though... and Gordon in general makes my brain hurt. I am a slash fan, but I just don't really feel it in Disgaea. It is, however, funny as a joke.
