For some reason, the girl sticks out more than the rest of the piece, which makes it sort of seem like she was drawn then copy+pasted into the background. D8 Or is tha tjust me?

I got your input on dA and I gotta say that while I hadn't intended to work on this anymore (that snake killed me and I'm ready to be done with it @[email protected]), I might actually take your suggestion and add some more detail to the girl's costume to make her fit in more with the detailed background.

Oh my gosh June, that's awesome! The texture on the snake is fantastic, and I love the freakshow/circus look to it. :D

And I also :heart: pinups, so this is great. XD I feel like her extended leg is really long, but maybe it's just the toepoint.

This is just fabulous O.o The snake scale are so wonderful, I am amazed :) Her red tunique is probably what is making her standing out more but you don't need to work anymore on this pic. It's already brilliant !

Thanks! And I would totally like to do a series with this. That'd be pretty cool. :yes: And now that it's been mentioned a few times, I think I will add more detail to her corset. Lace and texture will do nicely, I think. ;)

You might be right that her leg is a little long there. Legs are hard to do. D:
And unfortunately I'm not doing commissions right now, because I'm currently part of an art auction on Gaia and that's going to take my attention for now. Sorry.

Yeah, the girl is much brighter than the rest of the picture, but I totally love it. o_o A suggestion would be just to tone down the colors a bit, maybe a more sultry dark hue? That way she fits more in the picture, but otherwise, this is gorgeous <3 I lovelovelove your anatomy, and the snake looks awesome. Great job <3
