Recently I've started going back to all those music websites that I made playlists and stations on about a year ago and not only did I find that my taste in music has changed, I also found a crap load of bands and artist that I still love but had forgotten all about! It was like a time capsule for my ears!
I rediscovered ...
Powerman 5000
Good Charlotte
General Fuzz
The Cranberries
The Hush Sounds
The Used
Bullet for my Valentine
H.I.M.
Keane
and a bunch more!:boogie:

Any of you guys done the same thing? What lost musical treasures did you find? ^^

I've mostly had cases of "I liked this band when I was a kid, and I never really stopped liking them but only recently started being self assured enough to listen to them again." With silly bubblegum pop, like Hilary Duff and Avril Lavigne.
Also, The Academy Is. Why did I stop listening to them again? x3

Well, I don't change the music on my ipod very often, so I have a lot of old songs I like (and some I don't like) on it... but sometimes I forget some of the bands, and then get happy when I "find" them again X3

Sometimes I prefer old songs. Easier to sing along lol xDD
Too many new songs make me kinda lazy to learn the lyrics haha.
So much so that I like to listen to music, I like to sing a lot too. x'D<33

So er.. I don't think I forgot any artists or songs that I used to like. Unless when I liked those when I was young. Kid songs perhaps lol. Though I still like them hehe.

I've definitely done that a lot more of late. My friend got me started on my first "shuffle and fill out this questionnaire thing", and from there I just left my media player on shuffle. I never can bring myself to delete old bands, so I had a lot of stuff in my files and they would play randomly throughout the day. I would find myself singing and smiling really big because I still remembered all the words. It's so much fun to look back and listen to the stuff that you used to obsess over. You either agree with your former self or you laugh hysterically and hit delete.

Well I have a very varied music taste so its not really a case of forgotten bands, more like bands I didn't use to like but now do.
I have recently fallen in love with Simon Cowel's creation: 5ive
Michael Jackson
Enrique Iglasias
Mika

There are quite a few artists out there.

I used to be obsessed with Gorillaz, and then got over it, but recently found their self titled and G-Sides albums, and forgot how amazing those two were. Demon Days was alright I guess.

And Blowsight. Hnnnng.

I love rediscovering bands. A lot of times, you get tired of a band because you hear them all the time, then they fade away for a long while (years even). All of the sudden you hear a song from that band and you remember why you liked them.

Bands I recently rediscovered: Our Lady Peace, Blue Oyster Cult, John Denver (yea, yea, super dorky I know), Cyndi Lauper, Placebo, Annie Lenox, Roy Orbison

I think internet radio has helped me rediscover bands. In the car, I mostly listen to NPR, but at home, I listen to internet radio to find new music- and apparently old music.

Wow, I wasn't even thinking back as far as some of you, my musical taste changes yearly apparently and I can only keep up with so much xD
Ever find those songs you used to love when you were younger and you listen to them now and realize ... they suck! I find myself going "Why in the world did I like that?! O.o".
Aah, good times :3
