Okay i need to start running so that i can get back into shape. So i need help i hate running to just the sound of my feet. It also helps me if i have something that sets a beat.
What music inspires you to run or dance?
So far i have
Weapon of Choice - Fatboy Slim
Here it goes again- OK Go
Harder, better, Faster, Stronger- Daft Punk
That's not my name - the Ting tings
Boom Boom Pow - Black Eyes Peas

I don't run, so I don't really have running music, but if I did go about running I'd have muic that inspired me to move. Like up beat music, perhaps like the bands Garbage, Depeche Mode and whatever else that gets me motivated

I don't run... But He's a Pirate from the Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack makes anything more epic

Pssh Requiem for a Dream's theme is super epic (i think the original is called Lux Aeterna... not sure). I think it's more epic than O Fortuna (Way played out by the way).

Oh yeah. I didn't even think about that one. That's a good one too. The only reason I MIGHT chose that over the Pirate's theme is because it lasts longer. He's a Pirate is just so short.

When I exercise, I prefer Trance or Dance music. Those genres are made to get you moving.

Drum and Bass music for me. Nothing like running to some weird-ass beats.
Also, no one has mentioned Eye of the Tiger yet? :)

LoveGame by Lady GaGa
Untouched by the Veronicas
Riot by Three Days Grace
That's all I can remember for now, but I go running kind of a lot and I'm sure I can recall some more from my playlist a bit later.

I actually have such a list!
It's a seven song list, that takes a little less then thirty minutes, which is plenty of time to "run" (usually jog) around my block.
In order:
1. "A Thousand Miles" by Vanessa Carlton
2. "The Future Freaks Me Out" by Motion City Soundtrack
3. "Reptillia" by The Strokes
4. "Only One" by Yellowcard
5. "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne
6. "Anna Molly" by Incubus
7. "Let it Rock" by Kevin Rudolf Featuring Lil' Wayne
Should help keep me limber during the Zombie Apocalypse... :P

Well if I go to the gym (which I haven't since I got pregnant) I plug into my ipod and have really upbeat things. Like Footloose, I Don't Feel Like Dancing and Eye of The Tiger. I mean if it worked for Rocky its bound to work for me.
Surprisingly enough Stevie Wonder & Michael Jackson are good musicisans to work out too XD

"Royal Villain" - Royal Pirates
"Tabidatsu Kimi e" - Asian Kung-Fu Generation
I've actually had instances where I've ran with these songs playing, which is why they came to mind for this.
