John Williams: a composer god among men, y/y?

You know who I'm talking about. The man who composed the theme you don't want to hear while swimming, the song that is synonymous with adventure itself, the score for one of the most successful sci-fi franchises of all time...

Let's face it: the man is a genius. So, fellow Menewshians, discuss away! What is your favorite movie score by this man? Personally, I am in love with his Star Wars score, although I've been a huge fan of the movies since the age of four so I might be biased.

Some fun links (that I wouldn't click on if you don't have four hours to spare/were planning on doing something productive):

My dad played the Superman soundtrack almost every day for a long time to get his day going.
So it's got a very nostalgic feel for me and I love Star Wars :D And yes, I definitely don't want to be near water when I hear Jaws

I do think he's the best composer of the 20th century :!:

So agreed. Pretty much any soundtrack he composes is musical gold. My favorites, of course, being the Star Wars soundtrack because I am a colossal nerd and listen to them so much.

My favorites are the music from the ceremony scene at the end of A New Hope, Luke and Leia (from RotJ) and, well basically the entire last 45 minutes of Jedi.

Its Gotta Be Schindler's List Theme. I fell in love with the Violin score in this song and simply love it. But Star Wars is almost my second.

Honestly, I wouldn't call him the greatest composer of the 20th century, but he is probably the best score composer of the 20th century. I'm personally enamored of his music for Indiana Jones and Jurassic Park.

He did the scores for Star Wars, Jurassic Park, Jaws, Indiana Jones, Superman, Schindler's List, and E.T. to name a few.
