ebm, acronym for electronic body music, was first coined by industrial band kraftwerk.
bands are still claiming this genre of music. such as straftanz, colony 5, combichrist, etc.
yet others, such as vnv nation, have evolved into a new genre called future pop.

i love love these types of music!
if anyone has any obscure ebm groups that they are obsessed with, please share! :D

VNV Nation rocks! I don't know much about EBM, but I love industrial. Skinny Puppy is my favorite. Also love Velvet Acid Christ and Front Line Assembly. Hope this isn't off topic. >_>;

VNV Nation, System Syn and Assemblage 23 are my favorites at the moment. I got to see VNV and System Syn live last night, was the most amazing thing ever! The guys from both the bands are kickass people, and they stayed around after they played their sets to chill and have a few drinks with the fans. Loved it!
