I've known about La Roux for quite some time now, although I only just started listening to them semi-regularly... And well, I have to say I'm in love with them!

Totally worth checking them out if you like pop or female vocalists... Or both? They technically fall under the category of electropop "synth duo," but that seems a bit too, err... Niche for anyone to have an official adoration for.

But maybe I'm just outta the loop. :gonk:

I love La Roux. I first heard of them on the Logo channel. I was extatic when I heard them in a Byonetta commercial! And, I can admit that I have watched the Bulletproof video on OnDemand about 20 times... Eh heh...

I've heard of them on LOGO as well! Those darn commercials tend to invade your mind, eh? :P
LOGO is also how I learned about Uh Huh Her and, um... Other bands whose names I can't remember. :gonk:

Tegan and Sara, The Scissor Sisters...

I love La Roux! I bought a poster that's currently up in my room and it's soo nice.

I'll admit that I find her voice somewhat annoying if I listen to her stuff non-stop though.

LOL. I could never listen to someone's stuff nonstop... I always get sick of crap easily. :gonk:

Siri, we're so damn compatible, musically speaking. MARRY ME. :gonk:

Totally kickass poster, by the way. I'm on the lookout for amazing posters for my up-and-coming dorm room, so that one is duly noted. ;)

*marries*

I'm such a music junkie. It's nice to know someone else who's as obsessed as I am~ :D

And gigposters.com is THE place to go for dorm room posters.
I would check that site out if you're looking for stuff. It's nice not to get generic stuff for your room.

OOH! Thanks for telling me about the site. =3
I've had such issues finding decent posters. :gonk: Then again, I've only looked on friggin' Amazon, and well... A site that sells so many different kinds of crap is hardly trustworthy to sell posters of people other than Hoe #1 and Thug #2. :gonk:

~cough~ just posting for the poster thing
I steal posters
All the time.
It's totally legit as long as there's more than one floating around and the event date is close. I have some awesome posters on my walls stolen from bulletin boards, telephone poles, store windows, etc. As long as you actually like your local music scene or bands come to your town all the time, it's so great. There's this one band, The Idlers, and they have crazy posters and they're always all over town, so I always steal them. Idler blog is full of cool posters, I have the 2nd one, found it in a hallway But it's okay because I see them all the time.
Stealing is cool D:<
But yeah La Roux gets old fast, I usually can't even get through one of their songs, they're all 4 minutes long and that's 3 minutes too long for me. @[email protected];
