So I have a lot of favorite bands. But Tokio Hotel is the band that I love the most. And no it isn't because the lead singer is Bill Kaulitz. I do admit that the guys are really hot. But thats not why I love them. Their songs have helped me out a lot in the past few years. And without them I wouldn't know where I'd be.
Now even in 2011 I am still a hard core fan of theirs. Their newest album totally blew my mind with the German versions of Forever Now and Zoom into Me. Although many people do not like their newest album, because the sound has changed Iabsolutely adore. In my veiw the guys are still the guys and everyone changes.
So to get this show on the road. If you like them, what are your favorite songs by them?

I'm a bit of a snob on Tokio Hotel :lol: I do like them, and I liked them before they got big in America (as short lived as that was). I like their German songs over English, as it sounds more natural in their native language. I like Schrei and Ubers Ende der Welt :heart:

I think their native tongue is way better. It's packed with a lot more emotion and intensity. I learned of them when they came to America. A little before it I think. It was kind of short lived, but I have to say that from what I view on Youtube and the Youtube comments that people give. Many Americans didn't want the German band in the country.

PSH. Them people are CRAZY. I mean, FALK. I would be DEAD if it weren't for TH. On several occasions. Even though you can't die more than once. BUT YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. And their German songs are totally better than the American versions, but I still love them all. i think my favorites are Alien (German), Durch den Monsun, Sacred, and Spring Nitch.

Glad to see another fellow Tokio Hotel lover in the ranks. Yep Spring nicht is defintely a strong song. Especially the orchestrated version. It's delicious. I have to say Fur Immer jetzt is like my absolute fave right now and coming on it's heels are That Day, Darkside of the Sun, and Dog's Unleashed. I can't believe that anyone said their new album sucked. People in America have no taste sometimes.

Gah, I know. I hate living in America. I feel like I belong in Germany. TT-TT

....Or Russia....
But their new album was totally refreshing and something new to look forward to, which I did. And I loved it. Stupid people...

Any place that doesn't invite such....nationalistic single-minded ideals. Many people reject what is not natural theirs. Kesha is American she plays by American rules and gains viewers by doinng what America wants. Tokio Hotel does their own thing. Although the world inside the media is strict and hectic, the fact still remains that they are not Americans.
I know for fact that Americans have rejected them simply because they were not American.
Not to mention, the generation of female fans who think that TH has changed with this new album.
Sad to say but this is why they aren't touring in America. How can you tour a place that doesn't like you?

I'm sorry. It is really sad to think about. I've found myself in love with Tokio Hotel and defending their integrity from people who do not understand. Unfortunately that comes through in a lot of conversations that I have with people now a days. I don't mean to be in defense mode all the time. Rather I'm more realistic and sometimes I speak the truth. Sometimes I'm a little more blunt than I intend to be. And for that I apoligizes. Society Rulers and therefore it sucks.

Yea, I agree. I think it's fine if you don't like a band and whatnot, but no reason to be a jerk about it :(

That's what I can say about everything. There's no such thing as dislike. Only preference.

Darkside of the sun. I think that one is really good. And it is offensive. Half the time when people are like that and say that the Lead singer is gay. I say "Yeah and dude you're just so effing straight," snort or roll my eyes and walk away. Being gay isn't a bad thing. People shouldn't treat as such. And just because others look a certain way does not mean that they are gay or straight or anything. But unfortunately many people can't seem to get that through their minds.
To be honest I sport an androgynous look. And I don't try to either. I just happen to have both characteristics of both genders.
To be honest most signs of be effiminate is a pointed jaw on high cheek bones and full lips. Boy who sport this and are overly anly will be considered feminine and therefore called gay by their more mannish peers.

To be honest, I did think Bill was a girl when I first saw him. There was a picture of him in someone's signature, and I thought it was a really pretty girl. He does look feminine, but looking feminine doesn't mean he's gay :/

That's true, but people are often judged on their looks.
So to get off this topic. Since I and many other TH fans find ourselves on this subject. Have you ever been to a concert? Sadly enough I haven't.

Tokio Hotel is OK. I liked 'Scream' , 'Monsoon' , and 'Don't Jump'. ^^

I haven't! And I doubt I will, either, since I don't think they'd come back to America. It would be awesome to go, though.

Well the lead singer and guitarist live in LA so I think it the chanes of them having a concert are high. Or At least in the middle.

So how about their newest album. Although it only has a few new songs, what do you think of them. I think their pretty good.
