Anyone into industrial music? My friends and I are kind of in the local scene, and I use the term "Local" quite loosely, because the closest club is about 45 minutes away and most of the group doesn't even like that one.... but i digress.

Some of my favorite bands include;

Nine Inch Nails

How To Destroy Angels ---> Rather new project by Trent Reznor and his wife. They only have six songs out but I'm already in love.

Flesh Field ---> This project is unfortunately over with, which is a shame because i LOVE it. They've had a good run thought and put a lot of stuff out

Icon of Coil ---> I like this much more than Combichrist, another project by the lead singer who one of my best friends is obsessed with.

Cylab
----> Saw these guys live a couple weeks ago. They're a small up and coming band, but I like their aesthetic and they definitely deserve a signal boost.

There are others I'm forgetting I'm sure, but those are big ones. Anyone have any industrial songs or bands they like?

I don't think I've heard of them. Any song by them particularly good?

To name a few. Is Gott ist ein Popstar, Augen Auf, Ich will deine Seele, Das Weisse Licht, Zuviel Liebe kann dich toten, Nicht ist kalter als deine Liebe, Auf Kurs. I have most of their CDs so there are a lot of songs to choose from. Du lugst is good as well.

Their really cool. Their videos are a little bit strange but in the end. It's something nice to listen to. Sometimes they talk about love. But it's the "Baby, I love you!!" Type stuff. It's more of the "Nothing is colder than your love." Their is also this other band called Wolfsheim. I'm not sure if their music is considered industrial, but they have this awesome song called Die Flut. It's really sad and makes you think about things in a new light. Um all of this is in German. I think if you don't know the language it doesn't really matter. They have English songs as well. But the sounds they have convey the moods they want for the song.

As a fan of industrial, I am well used to most of the music I listen to being in German xD I don't understand a word of it though.

And industrial love songs are rarely of the "Baby I love you" type.

To be honest I don't really know industrial music. Well, I do, but I don't know what would or wouldn't fall under the category. I just listen to music I like :XD

But MAYBE Rammstein, Psyclon Nine, Velvet Acid Christ, and Mindless Self Indulgence would interest you?

I speak German. Granted I have a ways to go before I am capable of learning everything. I really just have to work on my Grammar. But listening to bands in Germany really helps you to understand when you're trying to learn another language. Now if only I could get my Japanese down. And as for Japanese I really don't what would fall under the catergory Industrial. Because a lot of people want to call it J-rock. But I suppose some bands would probably be hm...Dir En Grey or The Gazette. D'espairsRay is good as well. But again I'm not sure if they can be considered Industrial. I should look up the meaning next time.
